Im not super judgemental about atmosphere usually. They being said, im all for supporting small local places.
This was my first (and last) visit to this place. Small, grimy feeling. Every table space is very cramped and you feel like you are sitting on top of others. Not only that but if you talk above a whisper, everyone quiets down to listen to your conversation.
Service was very cold, except when it came to the check then they were very nice. Whatever.
Food getting to our table was fast. That was good.
Food quality…meh.
The corned beef hash was good.
Home fries were very dry and bland.
The pancakes…like the name of the place pancake house were not good.
I literally had 2 bites and it was like a lead ball in my stomach. Thin but heavy and dense. Strange flavor to the batter. No perfect crisp brown edging.
That’s it. Not my favorite place but it was packed so they must be doing something right for those who were there.
I am exercising my 1st amendment right and I am not suicidal.

Disappointing! Food was terrible. Scrambled eggs were out of a carton (not sure if they are real eggs). Eggs were served cold, Silver dollar pancakes were cold but edible. Bacon appears to be previously cooked and then reheated in the microwave. Coffee was good. We will NEVER return!! Save your money!!

This establishment is in dire need of help as evidenced by the signs in front. As of 7/25/25. So take the food and my words with a grain of salt. The food was mediocre. I had corned beef hash and scrambled eggs with pancakes. If you are on a diet and like no additives this is a great place. Not much flavor. I’d even say I make it better at home. Now, the food wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t WOW. From the looks of the patrons who appeared to be 80% elderly. I’m assuming this is an old haunt and mostly nostalgic for the geriatric crowd. But it was quiet, and service despite low staff was good.

First time eating there and really enjoyed eating brunch there. I had the breakfast special which consisted of three pancakes, two scrambled eggs and cornbeef hash. Was really good and believe me I ate every bit!!! The service and atmosphere was great. Looking forward to eating there again when I’m on that side of town!

If you ask for scrambled eggs with cheese, you get scrambled eggs with a square piece of cheese melted on top of the eggs. They don’t give you butter for your pancakes, they give you vegetable oil whipped spread. Bacon was fine. They forgot some of my food I ordered. They were busy though. I think if they offered real butter, and melted the cheese in the eggs when they cooked them it would be better. It was the first time I’ve ever been there. The staff was really nice and friendly.

It is not near the highway or on the main road. Perfectly away from corporate dining. All of those people who complain must like crowded places and poor quality food. I understand if something is not perfect from time to time. Saying that you can make it better at home is an insult to the farmers that supply this restaurant. I have a farm and the food is fresh. The sausage is wonderful. Coffee is better than Starbucks any day. If I lived closer all of the staff would know my name. I only wish that I could help make hashbrowns for them. Try and make pancakes at home as good as theirs. Call me and I will come and give you a master chef opinion. The service was so fast that I only had 2 sips of coffee. I will be back. I hope the complaint department stays away so that I don’t have to wait for a table. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

This place was great … The food is still good but the trash talk overheard from the kitchen staff is vugar and anything else than appetizing. I left my meal on the table after asking twice for the waitress to ask them to stop. And I ended up paying for the whole meal even though half was left on the table. Had a group from my church meet there Saturday 10.04 for breakfast. The table we sat at wasn’t big enough for the group, so my wife pulled up a chair. The server literally screamed at my wife that she could not do that. She continued to be short and rude throughout the meal. Do not recommend

This was my very 1st visit to the Pancake House. The menu has many options with reasonable prices. They offer daily specials but I got the Hamburger Combo which comes with Hamburger, French Fries and Drink which I got Ice Tea. It was $8.79. Then I ordered a side order of Tater Tots. The food was good and hot and fresh. The waitress was very friendly an accommodating.
