A wonderful local cafe. You gotta love a place with giant chickens at the door and open at 5:30 am! We especially loved all the pictures of local folks who have served our country tastefully displayed around the dining room.

Cute, local brunch spot in Ephrata. Can’t wait to go back and try the 10 other items I was trying to decide between. Ended up with the Nutella Banana pancakes (can’t go wrong with those). We also had strawberry cheesecake pancakes and chocolate chip pancakes which were delicious. Place was busy but we didn’t wait for a table. Our server did a great job keeping our drinks topped off, food came out quickly. Attached are today’s specials (white page) and only one page of the menu. They also have many other breakfast options like omelettes, crepes etc for more healthy options. Looking forward to trying the chicken & waffles or the stuffed French Toast next time.

It was good and the vibe was young and old but the place was full of life. Arrived on a Weekend morning to a packed house but sat immediately. I had coffee, omelette of the meat w/hash browns, sourdough toast (that was amazingly delicious) and a stack of pancakes. Everything was above satisfactory and the staff took care as soon as a plate was finished and refilled when my coffee had gotten light. Overall I would stop here anytime for eats.

Stopped here for the first time Saturday morning as I was told they had really good breakfast. It’s a smaller building so we had to wait about 10 minutes for a table which was fine. Our server was kind but because of how busy it was, we felt a bit rushed. She brought our check while we were still eating. Not a deal breaker by any means but doesn’t exactly make you feel like staying. The pancakes were fine. Eggs and hashbrowns were a little undercooked. Too “wet” for me. My daughter’s homefries were undercooked too. Sausage was good. Toast was barely toasted and lathered in butter so much that I couldn’t even put jam on it without the bread breaking. Our whole experience felt rushed and the food felt it was cooked that way too. I’ll definitely go back and try it again as the building is cool and I like the small town feel to it, but my first impression overall wasn’t anything to write home about.

We had a wonderful Valentine’s Day brunch today. The 15 – 20 minute wait was well worth it. We were greeted and seated graciously and this place has a very pleasant atmosphere. Our food came out perfect and piping hot! When in the area we would certainly visit again!! Thank you for a great visit.

The food was great! We ordered breakfast for lunch. I ordered French toast and my wife ordered the gluten free pancakes both were really good. Our server Mackenzie was very pleasant and attentive as was the hostess. The ambiance was very nice. They had photos of service people they Knew and didn’t know. Next time we are in the area we’ll stop for an actual lunch or maybe dinner.

Always good service. An early-morning option that is usually not too crowded. The prices are average for a diner-style restaurant like this. I keep coming back and will continue to do so. One con is that it’s small enough that if there’s a loud person talking everyone can hear. Seems like there’s usually one of those 🙂

Very good American breakfast.
Chelsea was great. Attentive and helpful.
Food was very good. Pancakes, eggs, scrapple, quiche… everything tasted good. They tend to make everything a little thicker, so it may be a little mushy on the inside but still delicious.
Thank you! Will be back!

The place was clean practically spotless. The staff very friendly. Con: They grill with butter or oil and I was led to believe they could provide a butter(dairy) free order by briefly cleaning the grill. Yet, my eggs came out with what look like butter and not oil on top. Just couldn’t trust the food prep after that.
Pro: items i could eat from my meal were well prepared and tasted great. If you’re in the area I believe you can get a great meal here just be cautious of cross-contamination.
