Great-out of the way location. Locally owned and operated. Very clean, service and food was great. I had the special Tuna Melt for lunch, excellent, prices fair. I didn’t take any pictures of the Dining Room, but plenty of room….I sat at the spacious counter. I’ll be back!

Ordered broccoli cheese soup and a chicken salad sandwich. The soup had nice big chunks of broccoli in a nice creamy cheese sauce. The chicken salad sandwich was different from the last time I had it. It was good

The owner is super friendly, he gave us a lot of history of himself and how he came to be in Panama Ny. The diner has a variety store section which is so interesting! Also, the place was very and organized and clean!!! The ice cream serving was huge!!! And delicious Hersheys ice cream, I had never had that brand, it was wonderful and only 1.00 !! Definitely a place to visit when you’re in the town of Panama NY !!

This is one of those fabulous little places,out of the way, but you’d be so happy to find it. The owner operator is a Veteran and truly friendly to anyone. The restaurant has a wee store in the back with a bit of a variety of food, clothing, toys, etc… Our food was really good we chose the fish fry and the portions were quite enough to satisfy. My only thing about the whole meal was I’m not a fan of premade coleslaw, but don’t let that keep you from stopping in they have many other great choices And also serve ice cream if you’re in the mood for that. We’ll be back soon, I hope

Loved it! Amazing burger and fries. Amazing fried chicken. Good potato salad. Good peaches with whipped topping. Decent prices. Small menu, but great food. Very funny friendly cook. Cool 50s theme with 50s and 60s music playing. Little store attached. Cash only with an atm outside.
Only 2 complaints are I bought the $4.50ish cheddar and broccoli soup, but didn’t realize I never got it until I was already 20+ minutes away in Jamestown. I tried to come back for breakfast another day and the hours are different than online. They don’t open until lunch.

You wal in to a surprise, you just walked back into the fifties. The checkered tables to the decor. Food was excellent and served in a timely manner. Our server/cook was generous and comically. The burger was very moist, and had so much flavor. I will definitely stop by the next time I am traveling that way.

Clean environment, friendly and personable owner, and just an overall good atmosphere. We stopped here after hiking Panama Rocks and were very impressed with this diner. Overall a good experience and recommend it to anyone in the area.
