Super excited to find a Hispanic market close to home. They have a little bit of everything you expect to find in a Mexican market and more! I went looking for masa preparada para tamales and ended up buying all kinds of spices I couldn’t find anywhere else. I bought some pan dulze, and fresas con crema because why not lol. And fresh chicharron! It was still warm and so delicious. Definitely will come back. So close to home and great service.

Food is great, the atmosphere is amazing! I love it! But I went to this place on 10/25/2025 around 6pm. There was an employee, a woman. Dressed like a hooker. She had her chest and nipples showing and was very flirty with the customers. I think this is very unprofessional and can be considered sexual harassment. I stood behind a family. The employee brought her shirt even lower to show the husband her chest and breasts! The employees need work uniforms! There are families who go into this place. Its extremely inappropriate, i feel like I cant bring my children here I hope something changes! Employees who flirt with customers make your store look trashy! I hope i never see this happen again.

My first time going to los portales location. Not greeter by personnel. I waited in the meat department to order my meet, someone walk into the store and order his meet, I was like what the hell I was here first, but no one acknowledged me. I got to the cashier she was not friendly, didn’t even say thank you. Poor Customer Service. NO BUENO……

bought 15 lbs of meat for birria, got home and found bones in the bag. Called them and told about it and they told me it was extra that they had given me, when i didn’t even ask for bones. Be very careful when asking for meat
