The sweet bread is very tasty, and they also have a kitchen with different dishes, but I’ve only tried the tamales. I recommend the ones with green sauce and chicken and the ones with cheese and jalapeño. The tamales are large and delicious.

Staff was not welcoming and disorganized. I asked for a carne asada burrito the woman looked at me and either didn’t understand or didn’t have carne asada, I didn’t ask for Pollo wish she pulled out of a bucket. Everything was completely flavorless and at $16 for a regular sized burrito what’s the worst neighborhood experiment

This is my review on their bread because this is a two part store, bread and food.
It looks really nice on the inside and the employees were friendly. They were cleaning and making sure things were organized so that’s a good sign. I guess the bread is a bit pricey but what isn’t these days. The bread was delicious and i enjoyed it. Their coffee was good too.
The store is located on a main street so parking in the front can be limited depending on when you go. That’s not something the store can control, so idk why another review complained about parking. A person double parking is on the person not the store.
Store hours are 4am to 9pm.

I have been looking for a panaderia since I moved to Ventura in 2019. I asked my coworker and he recommended Vanessa’s. I stopped by after work and I got about 10 pan dulces and 1 bolio for $25 which I think is fair considering the high cost of everything else these days. The elote was my favorite! And the conchas were huge and delicious too! I will definitely be back again!

It’s been a while since the last time I’ve visited Panadería Vanessa. My mom would always get bread from here and I remember I used to love it. Unfortunately, I do not live near them so I usually go to the one on Saviers Rd. This location blows the one on Saviers Rd. away. The bread is so flavorful, fresh and it reminded me of growing up. I would assume that both locations are under different ownership because the quality of the bread is day to night. Anyway, if you want some delicious, tasty and flavorful bread, come and visit this location because you will not be disappointed.
