The Conchas were so fresh. I came from Sacramento to try this spot out. The Conchas were as good as La Esperanza Bakery in Sacramento. This would be my go to spot for my Pan Mexicana in Woodland.

I found the place fast and easy when I visited about 3 months ago. They had what I needed and I was in and out. Not sure why there are complaints.

Got some bolillo for thanksgiving, the bread was so soft and they are the biggest bolillos I have ever seen! I also bought some pan dulce(sweet Mexican bread) it was delicious and fresh! Highly recommend buying your pastries and bread here! The customer service was great also!

Some of the best Mexican pan dulce on this side of the border! My experience of pan dulce is from the Mexican heartland of Guanajuato where my family is from and this comes real close. We love the palmeras and the empanadas dulces. The mantecadas are also highly recommended. Best to go on the weekend, to early when the pan is fresh and the smells invite you to eat as many pastries as you can handle.
Atmosphere is relaxed, mom and pop panadería from Mexico that offers affordable pastries and bolillos and teleras. The owners are extremely nice and very welcoming.

He sells you his older bread, like getting away with something, wouldn’t you want to sell customers daily made fresh bread, maybe discount the bread from the day before but point it out. His bread is the best when it’s fresh. Besides that we just ate bread from yesterday and it sucks. That’s why I only go once in a while

It’s okay. Most pastries I saw looked like they had either been left in the oven too long or not long enough. When I finally settled on some things, I didn’t taste the “freshness” everyone else is talking about. They did have a big selection, but not many things that looked appetizing. I think they would be much better off narrowing their selection and focusing on quality. The things I got, though, (conchas, croissant, cookie) were pretty good and reasonably priced.

This place needs to update its hours of operation—they’re incorrect, which is really frustrating. On top of that, the bread is overpriced for the quality. Definitely not worth it.

The mexican sweet bread is delicious. There is a wide variety of pastries to choose from. The workers and owners are very helpful and friendly. They also accept credit cards.

Very disappointed that we got a rancid and stale tasting cake. My mom got my brother and I tres leches cake for each one of us to celebrate our birthday this past Dec 31st. One of the cakes was dry, the frosting tasted old and rancid. I was really looking forward to having a good slice of tres leches cake for my birthday but that certainly wasn’t the case! My mom felt so embarrassed about the whole thing. But what’s upsetting is that they had the audacity to sell her an old stale cake asking full price!

Second time I had a bad experience. First time they charged me for not making a minimum purchase. I filled out an online complaint form from Visa card services since charging the fee is against Visa policy. Didnt charge this time. Yesterday I bought a number of items. The flaky custard rollups had an inch of filling at each end and a hollow tube in the middle. Trying to make a bigger profit???
