Cute little bakery with a selection of traditional Mexican goods. The cakes are amazing and it looks like they would be set up well for catering. Definitely going to visit again. The tres leches was so good I couldn’t get a full photo of it without taking a few bites!

We got all of this for under $7!!!!! I thought I misheard them when they told me the total! It was all so delicious and well made.
We loved picking out our options ourselves with the tongs. Staff was so friendly and explained what all the items were! There is lots of variety to choose from.
Might have to make this my daily breakfast stop. Love the location in downtown, too! Can not recommend any higher.

Tried a variety of their sweets. Everything was dry or crunchy and not fresh. The lady was very nice and helpful and they do have a wide selection. I will go back to try their bread next, but it’s a no for their sweets.

I love the warmth enthusiasm and cheerfulness on the part of the attendant that was taking our order. It is a friendly family-owned restaurant (with ties to Mexico based on the flag hanging in their overview). My husband and I will be coming here to buy our pastries and snacks to eat with our coffee in the mornings. This is a place for a quick bite to eat or take something on the go. And if you are driving a vehicle, just a heads up; don’t park into that comic store parking lot because they will have your car towed as they have already threatened my husband and died by leaving a notice when we parked our car in their parking lot on the side. Use the public square parking lot by the Amtrak station that’s only a quarter of a block away.

I had cakes from here so many times in the past and love their tres leches cake. I used to eat the whole large cake myself without even shaking with anyone else. but when I went in the other day, the tres leches pieces we took out were very dry and honestly didn’t taste like La Unica that I remember. Maybe because it was almost closing time, but we were very disappointed with the cake pieces on our recent visit. Would definitely visit again and will probably upgrade my rating too. Let’s see.

Friendliest, most welcoming staff and people around you could think of. My partner and I came to check out this bakery before he had to travel, and we hadn’t realized they only take cash/checks, and we only had cards on us. We were about to excuse ourselves, but a staff member offered to give us our goodies completely free of charge as first-time costumers; and she absolutely didn’t have to do that! A kind customer standing behind us offered to give us some cash for it. Everyone there was so wonderfully pleasant, and to top it all off, the place smells incredible, and their baked goods are delicious. Wholesome, good-hearted people here 🙂

Called to place an order for a cake. The lady that took my order offered different fruit topping options I told her I would ask the other person organizing party and call back. I called back within the hour, no answer. I’ve been calling for 2 days now and still no answer. I looked to the FB page maybe they had an emergency of some sort but find no good explanation why they would not answer.
