This place is incredible… the churros, jalapeño cheese bread and classic flan are among my favorites, but I always try something new each time I stop in too!
My only minor complaint is I wish they had more labels on items because I don’t speak Spanish and I wish I knew what was inside the unlabeled pastries.
Regardless, 100/10 recommend!

Every time we go, we always pick-up some of the Jalepeño Cheese bread. I have yet to find anything in there that is not delicious and it seems like they’re always open!!! The minute you walk in you’re hit with the amazing scents of fresh-baked goods. If you haven’t been, you need to go.

Panaderia La Azteca is a wonderful bakery. I was like a kid in a candy store in there. So many beautiful looking pastries, cookies, treats and more. I’ve seen this place many times but today was the first time I went in. I’m so glad I did. I brought home an assortment and everything is delicious. They also do special orders like birthday and wedding cakes.

Let me start with the good…. The pan dulce is delicious. Now if you want to order a tres leches cake, I recommend you DON’T! I ordered a cake and when I went to pick it up, it was not marked as paid, which I did!!! I looked for the receipt and was unable to find it, the lady looked in her computer and finally found where k had paid, I lost almost 30 minutes of my time to pick up a cake! Then to make things worse the cake was uneven, one side barely had any cake and was filled in with the icing!!!!! It seems there was more icing than cake or even strawberry filling! I was not impressed by this cake! Buy your tres leches cake from someone else, even Sam’s 3 leches cake was better than this!!

Love the pan dulce from this place! Great taste and not overly sweet. Unfortunately can’t say the same for their cakes. My husband wanted to surprise me with a tres leches cake. Unfortunately the cake he ordered was not the cake we received. Definitely not worth the price he paid. Tres leches cake should be sponge cake and be moist from a mixture of sweet milk. We received a double layered regular cake with strawberry filling. The flavor was not there not even the kids liked it and they love cake. We were charged for a 1/2 sheet cake and we received something closer to 1/4 sheet cake. Very disappointed. I give this place 4 stars because the young lady that attended me when I went to resolve this issue was professional and nice. The owner wasn’t there so she called her for me. Now the owner tried to get smart with me. She said as you see the cake was packaged in a carton box as the cake can not be moist because the box would get wet…. ummm we have bought tres leches cakes and they usually come in a plastic container to help the carton box not get wet. So I felt that her response made her sound unprofessional and with lack of knowledge. If you’re offering that cake you should have the right packaging for it, in my opinion… this place gets 4 stars because the young lady was helpful and professional and because the pan dulce is also really good. But stay away from their cakes would not recommend.

We really enjoyed stopping by this bakery!! They had a huge variety of breads and sweet treats, you basically get a tray and some tongs and collect which ones you want and they bag it up for you at the front. It was super good prices as well, all the stuff we got was seven dollars.
We really enjoyed the folded chocolate dipped item – it was crispy and layered and crumbly and different than most desserts. I wish they had more chocolate items in general. I also really loved the spiral custard thing. They have conchas, jelly filled desserts, donuts, regular bread like sub rolls, muffins, folded pastries, etc. I can’t wait to try the cream cheese danish we got too!
