If you live in Amarillo or are just driving through, you should absolutely visit Pan-Handlers Cafe’! The service was excellent, the food was delicious, the salad bar was impressive, and the fresh-baked cookies were a huge hit with our whole family! This will be our go-to for lunch anytime we are traveling through Amarillo.

The best-kept secret in town! We love this place! The professor, the Goudie and the club are all favorites. (also, gf bread options) We love their house made chips and the fries are crispy-delicious. Also, IT’s the best salad bar in town!!! That kale salad and those roasted brussels sprouts-yum! The service is always quick and super friendly. It’s a funny location-in the basement of a local bank but DO NOT let that deter you! They are open for lunch only during bank hours, so keep that in mind when planning your visit! The prices are very reasonable especially considering the high quality food they serve. Don’t miss this clean, cute, delicious little lunch spot!!!

We were on our way to Palo Duro Canyon for a 3 night stay. Stopped here for lunch . The cafe is located in the basement of the Amarillo National Bank. We were warmly welcomed by the hostess. My wife got a small salad bar plate and a cup of broccoli cheese soup, I got a Rueben Sandwich. All delicious. Sampled the Pizza Supreme soup, it tasted like a pizza without the crust – delicious. Had a house baked chocolate chip cookie for dessert. We highly recommend the Pan-Handlers Cafe.
