Spent $50 on 4 sandwiches I ordered online around 11.30am the app said the order would be complete at 12 14pm I got to the bakery around 12.30 ish and my order hasn’t even been started… waited 25 mins for them to make the sandwiches me nor my kids enjoyed the sandwiches poor management and customer service..

I’m originally from Waterbury, so I’m used to the Pan del Cielo over there, which is a bit different. The New Britain location is a smaller spot, which is fine, but I did notice a few things that should be addressed.
The woman in the front was taking orders, training someone, and also cooking. She was very kind, but I didn’t see her wash her hands at any point, which is a basic food-safety step. I also noticed the trainee touch her face before going behind the wall to prepare food.
I’m not upset about the service—both women were very sweet—but they do need better training when it comes to food-safety practices.

This bakery was the perfect little spot. Good atmospher, food is made to order so expect a 20 min wait but worth the wait in every bite.

Got a steak sandwich and it was amazing. Got it with everything. You taste garlic with every bite. Not overpowering either. I would come back. I ate it so fast forgot to take a picture.

I usually don’t leave reviews but I just need to. I have a love hate relationship with this place. Food is good but the customer service on most days is horrible. I just called and she told me to hold on a minute, no problem. I heard her take three customers orders and then the phone hung up after about 16 minutes of waiting, called back and the phone just kept ringing. This isn’t the first time. If you want to deal with long wait times and bad customer service then sure come to this spot. Also, I’ve seen others comment about the inconsistent price of items and it’s true, they will charge you two different prices for the same sandwich.

The employee seemed like she didn’t want to take my order. They do no accept SNAP, as most bakeries do. The pastry must have been made early and not tossed out. Open on Sunday and close to home. Sandwiches were good. Definitely a little pricey. $23 for 2 sandwiches and 2 canned sodas with 1 pastry.

I always ask for the same thing every time ( tripleta with cheese, mayo-ketchup and a snaple) every time they charge me more and more but this time the charge me for the sandwich and the bread separately and the cheese was in the aluminum foil in the outside witch u can see in the pic!! Last time I buy from there almost 15 dollars for a sandwich where u had to wait more then 30 minutes plus they do it wrong!! I trow out halfof the sandwich!!
