So the owner of this place is the nicest person you would ever meet. Their food is great, I even did the thing where you eat half of it when it is new. And half the day after, oddly it did taste just as good when re heated, which is incredibly rare. Honestly I would recommend this place though it is a bit on the moderately sided price scale, it is worth the cost. And the amount of food you get reflects their cost. Plus the quality of the food is superior to most other similar food places. And there miso soup is one of the best I have had in a long time.

This place was wonderful, I think so far it has been the greatest sushi I’ve tried in the area. The server was a sweetheart and the owner was very kind and wonderful. I truly enjoyed the lean Rangoon, the sushi and sashimi were perfect. I highly recommend this place, I can’t wait to come again and try new dishes!!

My family has made this restaurant a Christmas Eve tradition for the past five years, but after tonight’s experience, that tradition is officially over.
We arrived around 4:00 PM and weren’t seated until about 5:45 PM. We didn’t leave until after 8:30 PM – over four hours for what should have been a holiday meal.
The service was chaotic from start to finish. Tables seated well after us received their food first, and our dishes took forever to arrive. When they finally came, everything was stone cold. I politely asked for my plate to be warmed up, but it came back only marginally better – still lukewarm at best.
The food itself was a huge letdown:
The shrimp dish was rubbery and overcooked.
The chow mein was mushy and lacked any texture or flavor.
The vegetables were barely cooked and soggy. Nothing on the plate was properly hot, even after sending it back.
For $25, this meal was completely unacceptable. Honestly, it wasn’t worth more than a couple of dollars.
After years of enjoying Christmas Eve dinners here, tonight was a total disappointment in every way – from the long waits and poor service to the cold, low-quality food. We won’t be back

My mom and I went in for an impromptu girls date and we were not disappointed at all!! The food was 10/10, we had a few items off the lunch menu just to give them a taste. If we could, we would still be there eating right now it was that good! The katsu, the sushi, the soups, the sauces- all delicious. We also loved the staff and the cleanliness of the entire restaurant. It’s a must visit if you’re in Green Cove Springs!!

So, we’ve eaten here for years and loved it. Yesterday the wife and I went for Valentine’s Day and not only did the food look old and not fresh but didn’t taste great either. When we got home about an hour later the wife and I were vomiting. Both feeling like we got food poisoning. The presentation looked like they stopped caring and being sick right after means they have stopped caring about quality control in their kitchen. We will never go back. To everyone thinking about going, eat with caution!

Went for dinner. They had been opened all day Christmas short staffed. Owner came in for the night shift, the food was good. They got swamped by 5:30, glad my party got there early. Note to Owners/Mgmt, its okay to close for Christmas give the employees a vote to work or not to work. restaurant employees deserve the day off for Christmas and Thanksgiving. I’ll be back
