Stopped by Pam’s Farmhouse Restaurant and honestly it felt like a true local gem. The atmosphere is simple, cozy, and welcoming the moment you walk in. Staff were friendly and attentive without being over the top, and the service was quick even though the place was busy.
The food tasted homemade in the best way possible. Portions were generous, everything came out hot and fresh, and you can tell they care about quality rather than just speed. Perfect spot if you’re craving a classic Southern breakfast or comfort meal.

Hands Down, Pam’s has the best hot cake I have ever had – fluffy, large, moist, with that perfect crisp on the bottom. The type of breakfast craving that somehow sneaks into your dreams. Pamcakes.
Pam’s is a classic breakfast joint that feels like it hasn’t changed ever since the 80’s. Nothing fancy. No frills. Unlimited coffee refills. Cash and check only (ATM right when you walk in). Proudly housing the NC State and Hurricanes crowd. Best part of all: modest prices for hot breakfast.
Along with their pamcakes, their biscuits are next level (making the sausage/egg/cheese exceptional). I’ve also ordered the chicken & waffles on my first time there which was better than most diners around town. They offer both maple syrup and molasses to drizzle on your goodies. Not to mention they offer a few hard to find items like country ham, smoked sausage, red hots, fatback, turkey sausage, pork tenderloin, or hot bologna as meat options.
They don’t have a 20 page menu, but what they do offer, they deliver proficiently. I also have to respect the hardworking staff! They are sweet and seem like family that’s stuck around for ages. If anyone is looking for an authentic southern breakfast – Look no further & get there early 😉

Pretty big inside with many tables and plenty seating, but it quickly fills up for breakfast and lunch times. Good all NC restaurant with sweet tea, vinegar, and molasses on each table!
Biscuits and hotcakes are very good. Service was good. They only accept cash.

Felt like I was back in 1960 here and I loved everything about it. The food was great (hotcakes, deviled eggs, bacon and biscuits, banana pudding), service was friendly and quick. Prices were affordable! Cash only. Take your parents & grandparents here, they’ll appreciate it!

A true country Gem in the city. Open early, staff makes u feel like u are at grandmother’s eating breakfest. Reminded me of a small country store where locals gather to eat breakfast before going off to work. Anytime I am in Raleigh, this is my place for breakfast. The food is awesome! A must eat for country cooking.

Pam’s Farmhouse is one of my favorite places to grab breakfast. I’ve been coming to Pam’s for 10+ years and have never been disappointed. They have the best biscuits— they are always freshly made. I order the sausage and cheese omelette with apple sauce. Pam’s is cash only but they do have ATM machines in case you forgot cash.

Best biscuits and gravy I’ve had! Plus their pancakes are so flavorful, you barely need any syrup. The service is always wonderful and prices are reasonable. Make sure you have cash!
