Went there for the chicken papaya soup based on my good buddy’s recommendation.
He was right, it’s great with lots of chicken, papaya and kalamunguy leaves. It comes with jasmine rice. Also, got the gisantes and pinakbet combo with pancit. It was all delicious.
Parked in the 2nd level parking structure downstairs and the escalators lead right up to the entrance of the food court where Pampanga is located in.

The restaurant is bright and clean, parking is easy and convenient, and the staff is very friendly. Having said that, the mungo bean soup was just average and for the price (about $14 for a good sized bowl with a scoop of rice) I expected more or larger pieces of pork.

This Pampanga is located in the Pearl Highlands food court. 2nd to the last row of food stalls on the right side next to the men’s restroom. Visited and did dine-in with my mom. We ate pork guisantes and rice and had Pepsi for drinks. Food was delicious and didn’t wait for long. Was ready in 5 – 10 minutes.

2/25/2022 Wandered by because hubby wanted chicharon. The bag was a good size portion, cut into manageable pieces, and the chicharon was fresh and crispy. The empanada looked interesting to me so I wanted to try it. The lady working wrapped it up neatly in foil. I believe the filling was ground pork and egg. The filling was really tasty! Four stars only because the empanada shell was not crispy but soggy which made it hard to chew & the shell also seemed to have no seasoning/flavor.

This is a hidden gem, serving authentic Kapampangan cuisine. They serve classics like pork adobo and sisig, but also hard to find items like pork dinuguan (chocolate mole), bulalo, and kare kare. They also make their own chicharron and patupat. The lechon kewali is a must try! Large portions, made with love, and simply delicious. Reminded me of the food I had in Clark/Angeles and Palawan. I believe they just opened so everyone should try this place if they get a chance. Best Filipino food I’ve had outside of the Philippines hands down

Located in the Pearl City Highlands food court. Outstanding selection of Filipino dishes. They even serve breakfast with spicy Filipino sausage! The super star item is their Halo Halo dessert. They shave fresh ice for each order, then add milk, a scoop of Ube ice cream and caramel! To be enjoyed with a spoon. There was a lot of canned exotic fruits at the bottom!

Located in highland market foodcourt. So I only got the pork sisig so far and for the price $15ish was decent. It was delicious, not as crispy as I would have liked but I enjoyed it very much, will go back to try other dishes.

After everything I heard about this place, the bar was HIGH! Instagram, Tiktok, and Yelp raved about this place. Not only for the prime location for us central peeps, but because the food is supposed to have been ‘ono!
Happy to report they were all true!
Wouldn’t have come here without a group of friends who knew their way around the menu of course. Gotta order the best of the best.
My recommendations are: banana lumpia, pancit, lechon kawali, and the halohalo.
Every bite was flavorful, freshly made, and as authentic as my friends tell me! Will be back for more ‘ono bites when Im in this area!
