I ordered the turkey wings, mac and cheese, and cabbage. It comes with a small piece of corn bread and cake. Total was $18.
Turkey wing- on the smaller side and a little dry but good flavor
Sweet potatoes are made with white sugar so they’re super sweet.
Cabbage has a good kick

Piece of cake was moist and good.
Best item was the Macoroni and cheese. Delicious
Overall I’d return to try other things. I stepped out of my comfort zone of fried fish and/or wings. I’m not disappointed.

If you enjoy great homestyle Southern food, you need to try “Pamela’s Bayou in a Bowl.” It was definitely some of the best Southern food we’ve had in a long time! The fried chicken wings were delicious! The Redbeans & rice were perfect, The Okra, the sweet-potatoes and greens were like grandma made them! Just a great place to eat! Make sure you ask for Carlos & Hunter, they will treat you right and make sure you leave full and Happy! This is a must try, and you won’t be disappointed! Highly recommend you stop by!!

I visited Pamela’s all the way from Leesville and it was well worth the drive! The atmosphere and the customer service was great! The food was 10/10 and left me thinking about it for the rest of the day! The smothered pork chop over rice was delicious and the fried chicken wings were cooked to perfection. Can’t wait to visit again.

Pamela has been preparing soul food for this community for years and she is the best. Every day has a different menu lineup with a few regular items like fried chicken wings. Today I had the red beans and rice and she had the pork roast. We are regulars and we’ve never been disappointed at Pamela’s!
