I have to admit that they were very busy when we stopped by. The food came out fairly quickly, considering how packed they were. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, one order came out wrong in a number of ways and missing a side item that then took forever to receive. The other order was flavorless, and had a hair in it. Definitely a cute and convenient spot in the middle of nowhere, but I would keep the order simple and be prepared to add salt, pepper, ketchup, or hot sauce to your liking.

Moved to Clyde 4 years ago and finally stopped in at Pam and Al’s Diner. Was a very friendly atmosphere and the workers seemed to know everyone by name. Lots of regular customers which is a great sign in my opinion. Ordered breakfast and my son ordered lunch. We were both impressed with the service and or meals. The only thing I can complain about is the chili. The chili they served on the chili fries was not even comparable to the other food items. I will pass next time as it had beans and was really sweet. Never saw chili fries with beans so I was caught off guard. We left the whole order of chili fries with only 2 bites taken from it and passed on a to go box. I was hoping they would notice and remove it from our bill but I didn’t mention it so it’s understandable. That is the ONLY reason they are not getting a 5 star rating. They really should change the recipe or take it off the menu all together. It was not edible. As far as everything else it was delicious and we will definitely be making this a normal breakfast spot and look forward to being known by name as well. Keep up the good work! Also I would like to mention the homemade special deserts are absolutely AMAZING! Well done.

This place is ALWAYS packed. But I see why. Food is amazing, servers are more than willing to adjust menu items to your liking, and you can’t beat the prices for the portion sizes!

Generous helping’s, and everything is cooked well. Had the sausage gravy over biscuit, and my friend had hers over hash Brown’s. The pancakes completely covered the round dinner plate. Everything everything was clean, and the staff seemed to work well together.
