I’ve been coming to Paluva for years and I don’t know why it took me this long to write a review – this place deserves it. If you’re looking for authentic Colombian home cooking in South Florida, this is it. The lechona alone is worth the trip. Every time I walk in, the food is consistent, the portions are generous, and you can tell everything is made with care. This isn’t a chain, this isn’t a gimmick – it’s a family running a real Colombian cafeteria the right way. The price point is unbeatable for the quality you’re getting. I’ve brought people here for the first time and watched them become regulars on the spot. Lake Worth Beach is lucky to have this place. If you haven’t been, go. If you have been and you’re reading this – you already know.

Paluva is the kind of place that turns a simple meal into an experience. The ambiance strikes the perfect balance between cozy and elegant, making it ideal for any occasion. The menu is a thoughtful blend of classic and traditional flavors and inventive twists—each dish crafted with precision.
Service was attentive but never overbearing. It’s a place to indulge, to celebrate, and to create memories. Whether for a romantic evening, a special occasion, or simply an appreciation of fine dining, this establishment is well worth a visit.

Horrible service. Every time we go, it’s closed, but today Monday we arrived at 5 pm. The door was open, we went in, and the woman, who knows absolutely nothing about customer service, rudely told us it was closed. “Can’t you see the sign is off?” Who even notices the sign? We didn’t see one. It’s daytime, the sun is shining. How can we see that a supposed sign is off? How rude! Horrible place. We’ll never go back. Their website clearly states they’re open until 8 pm, but you arrive at 5 pm and they treat you like an idiot. There are better places. Like rinconcito colombiano only 5 minutes from this horrible place and the best food juices and customer service.

Paluva is hands down the best Colombian restaurant in West Palm Beach. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm smile and exceptional service that immediately sets the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. The restaurant is impeccably clean, with a vibrant yet cozy ambiance that reflects the heart of Colombian culture.
The menu offers a wide variety of authentic dishes, each bursting with flavor and prepared with care. Whether you’re in the mood for a classic bandeja paisa, succulent empanadas, or perfectly grilled meats, Paluva never disappoints. The portions are generous, and the freshness of the ingredients is undeniable.
What truly sets Paluva apart is their attention to detail. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and eager to ensure every guest feels at home. They take the time to explain dishes to newcomers and are always ready to accommodate special requests. The drinks menu, featuring tropical juices and refreshing cocktails, complements the food perfectly.
If you’re looking for a place that combines authentic Colombian flavors, exceptional service, and a welcoming atmosphere, Paluva is the place to be. It’s not just a meal; it’s a celebration of Colombian cuisine and hospitality. Highly recommended!

True homestyle cooking.
Do not go here expecting fancy restaurant vibes. Instead you get a small, cozy space with home decor, honest to goodness absolutely smashing home style Colombian food by very nice people who stay true to their roots.
You have certain fixed items such as tamales, calentados, empanadas etc everyday but the main dishes rotate depending on which day it is. I feel it’s best to call in and ask as to what’s cooking that day – Which is all the more alluring because you know you’re getting freshly prepared small batch food.
The lechona, calentado, chorizo, chocolate drink and cafe con leche that we ordered all had that unmistakable taste of being prepared at home with a lot of love and care.
All hail this hole in the wall – an absolute hidden gem!

Delicious food, warm, friendly welcoming owner and staff. I have been craving Lechona since leaving Colombia. This hit the spot. We even took several portions back home in vacuum sealed packages. They make you feel like family. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area.
