I recommend the tacos mininini (sp?).
The truffle corn is worth trying as well.
Banana dessert slice is great.
This is the best service I’ve had in the RGV by about 15x. Extremely attentive to detail, polite, but not bothersome.
The place looks really distinct inside and has a great atmosphere.
Highly recommend.
The desert and coffee was amazing.
From the moment we walked in, everything was top-notch. The ambiance is warm and elegant, making it the perfect place to enjoy a quality meal. The steaks were cooked to perfection—tender, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Every dish we tried exceeded our expectations.
What truly made our visit exceptional was the outstanding service from César. He was incredibly attentive, friendly, and professional throughout our entire meal. His attention to detail and genuine hospitality elevated the whole experience.
Highly recommended! We’ll definitely be coming back.
When we sat down we noticed the table was warped and coming apart, but they wouldn’t reseat us. (See photo of the warping and broken tiles/paneling whatever you call it.)
They put our napkins in our laps, but didn’t provide water service (we had to ask multiple times for water for the table) didn’t put the drinks over the right-side utensils, or serve from the right/clear from the left, or do any other service details you’d expect at an expensive restaurant.
The ceasar salad was prepared table-side and was passable but a bit overdressed. The burger had a nice crust, but was overcooked. I’m glad I decided to go in that direction, because after the situation with the table, I wasn’t going to trust them to cook me a steak.
My friends all ordered steaks. The server had us all cut our meat in the middle when it arrived to check for doneness – tacky.
Do not order a martini, old fashioned, or any other type of classic cocktail. There’s clearly no one behind the bar with real training. Our martinis came and they were pink. Who even knows why.
Our server was distant and uncommunicative. It was hard to get his attention. He cleared plates and glasses before they were empty and didn’t ask if we wanted dessert. We couldn’t find him after our meal so we ultimately decided to leave without desserts or coffee. We asked him three times for the check, and it finally came 25 min later.
Loved the bathrooms – the mouthwash in the nice decanter was a great touch.
Ultimately, it’s another corporate restaurant with furniture sourced at wayfair with mediocre food and terrible service… not worth the price.
