A nice place to stop for tacos if you are in the area. It would be really great if you lived within walking distance. I’m happy I tried it, but I don’t feel the need to make the drive again. It’s a little pricey, especially if you want to make any meal vegetarian (tofu or soy chorizo) because you get charged extra. Definitely look into their happy hour or daily specials!

Our favorite Milwaukee establishment for tacos and tequila on a date night. Come hungry, because the food is filling and the homemade chips are flowing. We also love the ambience in the summer time when the garage door is open.

I’ve been wanting to try this spot for a while and was so excited to see it in the Milwaukee City Tin! We were seated right away and ordered the hot chips & some margaritas. The hot chips weren’t hot in temperature, but in spice, and even as someone that prefers mild, I thought they were delicious! The radish & microgreens on top made them taste super fresh. I ordered tacos (all were a pretty big in size) and my mom loved her taco pocket! Both entrees were hot, flavorful, and presented great. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I decided to try this place because the menu looked so unique and creative – on a busy Friday night it was crazy loud inside, so we decided to sit out at the patio tables, which was nice.
We asked our server if it was still happy hour, and she seemed surprised by that question, but did tell us what specials were available when I asked. I had a classic margarita, which was ok. Chips were very good with average salsa. Our entrees were incredible though. My husband had the Paloma taco pocket, which was a big hefty handful of deliciousness, and I tried some vegan tacos, which were very fresh and flavorful, I especially enjoyed the crunchy pink shell, so yummy.

I myself did not get the tacos but the lettuce tacos were more than ghe regular tacos. The taco pocket was pretty solid, drinks were pretty good. I’ve also been to the one on North and that one might be the better one to stop at. Otherwise not terrible, but you can get cheaper, more authentic Mexican not much further from here!

Food was super tasty as were the drinks. Wonderful service from the bartender, he was so friendly and had a great vibe. Really cute and bright restaurant, matched the freshness of all the food and drinks. We had the taco pocket which was really good and the Hot Chips, one of my favorites. Brussel Sprout Taco (Tostada) was amazing and it is such a huge portion. House margarita was on point. All in all a really nice time to pass a lazy Monday afternoon!

Amazing food, service and atmosphere! We had the taco pocket and the quesadilla, both of which were delicious. Server was attentive and met our needs. I also love how bright and colorful the space is! Highly recommend

Tonight, I checked out Paloma Taco & Tequila’s newest location in Bay View. If you haven’t been, now is the time to get yourself there.
I cannot rave enough about the staff. Starting with our first interaction with the hostess to the bartender and servers – everyone was friendly, attentive, and helpful. They spotted a disability within minutes and made sure we were quietly accommodated with a comfortable spot to sit. Their menu recommendations were spot on, and it was clear the staff had tried everything themselves. Our server shared fan favorites as well as his personal favorites along with great tips, like adding avocado to the Hot Chips to make them even more flavorful.
We came for tacos and mojitos and we definitely enjoyed them. For drinks, we tried the Midnight and the Tropical Mojitos, which did not disappoint. For tacos, we tried the Crispy Tofu, Carne Asada, Spicy Chicken, Pineapple Carnitas, Brussel Sprout (with the Queso Crunch) and added a side Elote Corn Cup. I was glad Pattie, the owner, encouraged me to step out of my taco comfort zone and be adventurous because the Crispy Tofu and Brussel Sprout tacos were heaven. We ordered more than we could possibly eat but every bite was delicious.
For dessert, we split a Fat Elvis regretting that we didn’t have more to give. We’re already planning to come back and have our hearts set on the Smothered Burrito and salted caramel gelato!

I was so excited to come here. Saying I was really let down is an understatement. Our nacho appetizer came before our drinks. The Paloma I ordered was very watered down, and the Agua Fresca was a smoothie. Defeats the translation of the name. We ordered nachos, but a very cheap cheese was used. One of our orders was messed up. Despite utilizing fresh ingredients, the measurements of the combinations of the items used were not flavorful. My order was wrong, but I was not trying to point that out and have to stay longer. The music was way too loud. Our group and others had to scream to speak at each other. Before we left, all of our stomachs hurt. I will not be returning. Nothing about the food nor drinks were authentic or appetizing. $6 for a taco, even with the garnishing they used, was definitely not worth it.

I have been to Paloma (the Tosa location) so many times and have never been disappointed! My go-to item is the paloma taco pocket, basically an elevated version of a crunch wrap supreme, SO good. I love their chips too, they’re very thick and have a lot of flavor. Always gotta have their queso as well. Their quesadillas are huge and you could definitely have one for 2 meals. I’ve always been happy with the service here too.
