One of the best ceviches I’ve had in a while!!!
The food and drinks were delicious. To start the salsa that came with the chips was smoky, perfectly spicey. Delicious guac was made table-side for us.
I ordered the tacas de pescado, fish tacos. I loved the sweet / spicey sauce that came on the side. Nice sized bites of grilled tilapia balanced by fresh slaw made for perfectly fresh and enjoyable bites.
Go to Paloma!
I ordered the pollo con mole, and let me tell you, as a self-proclaimed mole snob, I was ready to critique. Instead, I was silenced. This mole could go head to head with my all-time favorite from Sazón in New Mexico. My husband’s steak and chicken fajitas were also top-tier (I definitely “sampled” a few bites for research purposes).
Bonus points for the little sparrows drinking from the fountain, they’re either regulars or part of the ambiance. We didn’t even need a reservation, which feels criminal for food this good. Perfect spot for friends, a date, or a “pretend you’re on vacation but only drove fifteen minutes” kind of lunch.
If you are looking for flavorful and well season Mexican food…. I would look somewhere else…. no disrespect to the restaurant….
We dined at Paloma Blanca Mexican Cuisine today, and the atmosphere alone made it a memorable experience. The setting is beautiful—lush tropical garden ferns, a relaxing outdoor seating area, and a gorgeous water fountain that adds such a peaceful touch. The interior décor is stunning, with authentic Mexican charm and Saltio style tile that makes the space feel warm, elegant, and thoughtfully designed.
We started with the bean and cheese nachos topped with guacamole, with jalapeños on the side. They were very good, and the tostadas were perfectly crispy. The salsa was delicious—full of flavor without being overly spicy.
My husband ordered the traditional enchiladas, which unfortunately were not our favorite. The rice and beans were okay, but nothing that really stood out.
I had the chicken relleno, and it was excellent. It was not the traditional deep-fried, battered poblano, which I actually loved. The poblano was stuffed with chicken all white meat that was tender and topped with a creamy cilantro-lime sauce and cheese. It came with a rice dish mixed with corn, cilantro, and lime, along with the Esmeralda salad—fresh greens with a light vinaigrette, Cojita cheese, tomatoes, and crispy tortilla strips. Everything on the plate worked beautifully together.
Overall, Paloma Blanca Mexican Cuisine offers a gorgeous atmosphere and a relaxing dining experience. While not every dish was a hit, the appetizers and my entrée were delicious. It’s definitely worth visiting for the ambiance and thoughtfully prepared dishes with a unique twist.
