I wanted to eat something healthy and Palmita got me just what I needed. I got the chicken bowl with avocado and pudding for $16 which I think is really good value.
If you like to eat though, you might want to add extra meat. I wouldn’t get the pudding again personally since it was slightly gritty, but it wasn’t bad! The sauces with the bowls were excellent. The pickup process is no contact with people, you have to do QR code with a locker that opens, no tables inside so takeout only.

This place is a ghost kitchen with take-out only and zero seating inside or outside. The food was very flavorful but not very warm. Portion was large. The house made hot sauce was delicious and I wish they sold bottles of it. I will definitely come back again.

Haven’t been home and haven’t gone shopping but of course I’m starving!! I’m already a huge fan of both Ben’s food and Umami express!! Absolutely thrilled being born and raised in California to now have a healthy delicious option for Cal-Mex food available for delivery! It has all the fresh homemade clean, healthy, delicious food that you have come to expect, know & love but now with that wonderful authentic Mexican flavor!! Don’t forget to order the homemade hot sauce. You will not be disappointed. It is truly a 10 out of 10.

Holy. Cow. This meal was life changing!! So so so good and makes me feel good knowing that their restaurant is clean, and hits all of my dietary restrictions. I got the chicken mixto bowl and everything came fresh and hot and super delicious. It was pricey but SOO worth it- you get a lot of food! I will be a new regular!!!!

I was so impressed with the quality and taste of the food here. Everything was incredibly fresh and delicious, made with high-quality ingredients and a beautiful variety of vegetables. What you see in the pictures is exactly what you get — vibrant, generous portions and beautifully plated.
My favorite dish was the Wagyu Barbacoa with mixed greens and rice — so flavorful and satisfying! The greens were crisp, the rice perfectly cooked, and the wagyu just melted in my mouth. Highly recommend for anyone who appreciates clean, high-quality meals that actually look like the photos!
