Gonna start with the easy.. yes it’s a bit dated looking inside and out but we’ve never had a wait for service or food. Always been more than happy with price, portions, and taste of food.
Been going to MB for 20+ yrs and tried almost every breakfast place. Was a long time Dino’s customer but last 5 or so years service and wait has gotten outta had. Gone across the street and haven’t looked back.

We arrived around 10am for breakfast. We were greeted by friendly staff, seated and drinks offered immediately. The restaurant was quiet and very clean! Our server Joe, was absolutely amazing. He was very welcoming and attentive throughout our entire visit. He went above and beyond to keep my fussy 21month old happy by bringing her out a sliced up banana to munch on while we waited for our meals to arrive. Our wait felt like maybe 10 minutes? The food came out quick! Presentation was lovely and food was hot & delicious! Now because I like to keep things 100% honest I have to share what I didn’t like. The pancakes just did not taste like the fluffy buttermilk pancakes I was expecting. They tasted more like boxed mix (definitely not buttermilk) and also their juice was very watered down. We ordered apple and orange juices and my husband and kids all said it was not good. I tasted it myself and agree. So many people look forward to a cold glass of juice with their breakfast it would be nice if they offered a better quality juice VS the watered down fountain concentrate tasting juice they had. Otherwise though our visit was very enjoyable and we will most definitely be back the next time we visit Myrtle Beach! Hopefully Joe will still be there because his hospitality made our visit memorable. Thanks again Joe! 😉

Not even 10 minutes and we were served, got our drinks, then our food. Breakfast burrito was delicious. French toast was wonderful. Great server (Sharon), efficient with her time. In 20 minutes we were out of there and ready to go back on the beach.

Honestly they don’t even deserve one star. We sat down and waited for an hour and still didn’t get our food. And the prices were way too expensive! We walked out and our waiter chased us out the door and made some harsh remarks toward us because we walked out. If you want a bomb breakfast go next door to Plantation house of pancakes their food was amazing and their service is stellar! We sat down, ordered, ate, and paid in half the time we waited for our food in this dump!

Absolutely awesome breakfast! The prices are excellent as well. There was a lot of food we couldn’t eat it all we had to get to go boxes. We are from CANTON,OHIO BOB N MICHAEL! Service was excellent Sandra was our waitress and she was extremely efficient and super friendly!

Extremely disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The customer service was awful, our waitress only checked on us twice, our food took an hour and twenty minutes to come out and it wasn’t even what we ordered. They had to remake the food and forgot our house fries which took another 20 minutes to come out. All we ordered was 2 omlettes, 2 pancakes, and house fries. Pretty simple food to make if you ask me. To make matters worse the manager promised 25% compensation then came back to say she could only give us 15%. Her reasoning for this was as she stated: “y’all still ate so I can only give you 15%.” “It’s not like y’all didn’t get to eat.” This was absolutely outrageous. I have never been treated this poorly by a manager of any establishment and this is the second time my experience at this restaurant was bad. I would not recommend Palmetto House of Pancakes to anyone.

4 of us went in to restaurant at 9:45am and sat immediately but in the ice cream side. Lady took our drink orders & brought them out & then took our orders. Didn’t come back for 45 min and made the statement, oh do you not have your order? After we sat 3 other large groups came in, 2 left because of no service. After she said she’d check on our order she brought out an order for 8 or 10 that sat 10 minutes after us. We figured she never put our order in so we left. They probably lost up to $200 in 15 minutes. DO NOT GO HERE TO EAT!!!!! You’ll starve to death.

Greatest Bananas fosters pancakes and relatively inexpensive. Great food, service was just as great. I have been a few times and only tried the bananas foster because it is to die for. Definitely recommend this to any and everyone!
