Excellent service, the food was delicious. Very cool space to hang out in. One of the nicest and cleanest restrooms in a tavern I have stepped foot in! So many awesome photos, pieces of memorabilia and decorations on the walls. Has a cozy inviting feel to the Tavern.

Ordered food for delivery. I won’t blame them for the food being cold cause hey it’s MN and freezing out so it’s hard to keep food warm. However the food itself was terrible. Burger slopped together and just a mess. So dry you better have lots to drink to prevent choking. Fries just plain terrible. Boneless wings worst I’ve ever had. This was by far my worst food delivery experience of my life to date. I wouldn’t even consider ordering from there again. Maybe if you ate in-house your experience might be better. Good luck.

They are under new ownership and it is pretty much the same place. I ordered my normal bacon cheeseburger with fries and cheese curds. The burger seemed smaller, and the amount of cheese curds seems about half of normal size. I’m not sure if this is shrinkflation or just an off night. Something to be aware of. We left a little disappointed, wondering why we spent $45 on that meal. I hope it was an off night; we’ve been going to palmers for over 15 years so if this is the new normal that is sad.

Arguably the best hamburgers on the Iron Range. Made from fresh cob cook grocery beef. They have the most delicious thick bacon I have ever tasted on a burger. And don’t even think about leaving without an order of cheese curds because you ain’t ever had bits of flavor and goodness like this in your mouth before. If you are lucky enough to get here on Viking’s game day you will have the most fun allowed by law. Palmers is OG and you will be back for more.

Friendly bar-maid and friendly patron there. Never felt alone in a busy bar. The first time stepping in, I was treated like a regular. Everyones accent started wearing off on me. I was pretty much one a them–geez Louise. No yeah..if i stayed any longer, im sure i woulda be recruited to the local cornhole league. But anyway it’s about 15 minutes from anywhere thats everywhere. I’d come back for the extended midwest goodbye. P.S. packers fans beware.
