Palmers did a great job hosting an 18 person rehearsal dinner the night before my wedding. The private room was lovely and the food was plated beautifully. The team even went out of their way to create a custom vegan dish for my husband and I. It was an excellent event!

Our first visit here was a HUGE success! Alveny was the perfect waitress in all aspects. The menu was creative and the meals were got were perfectly portioned and absolutely scrumptious! He got the lamb meatloaf, I got the clam chowder, and we split the mushroom bruschetta. Our friend got the scallop appetizer. All dishes were fantastic! Ditto Live Trio was the band, and the reason we went last night. They never disappoint! Can’t wait to go back to Palmers!

We had a bridal shower brunch at Palmers in the cozy wine room — fabulous and highly recommend. The room has a gorgeous wooden bar and cozy working fireplace and sloped ceilings — great atmosphere for a gathering. We hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner in the upstairs function room at Palmer’s Tavern. It is a beautiful, light-filled space that was the perfect size for our group of about 30 people. Amanda was so kind, attentive, and accommodating throughout the planning process making sure all of our questions were answered. The food was delicious and we had a great time with our friends and family!

I only had the burger but it was good. It took awhile for it to come out, but the taste was acceptable. We ate on the porch and it was a nice feel but a little chilly. The waitress said she could turn the heat on but never did. The server was a bit short and impatient with my group of 5. She did not check on us in an appropriate manner. I would go back but, I will need another server.

Went here for a wedding banquet. Beautiful, typical New England Tavern. In that sense, five stars. The food was OK, but didn’t do anything to change my life. Maybe a meal ordered à la carte would be better, and this was certainly not a bad experience. Just did not change my life.

This place should have 5 stars. Huge event space upstairs that is cheap for any function. THERE IS LIVE MUSIC THURSDAYS FRIDAYS andd SATURDAYS every week. They have introduced amazing bands recently and the service is incredible and servers actually treat you like a person not just a spender. Everything is big portions and fairly priced.

First time at Palmer’s! Quaint atmosphere with multiple seating options including outside front patio, enclosed porch, tavern with bar stools, and spacious dining room with cushioned benches and fireplace. Upstairs seating also available. Varied luncheon menu with starters, salads, sandwiches/wraps and complete entrees. Perfectly prepared and seasoned food with exvellent presentation. Alcoholic beverages available. Relaxed dining. Gracious server who couldn’t be any more pleasant or accommodating! Ample parking behind the building.
