This is a nice little restaurant. It looks dated and could certainly use an upgrade but, the food makes up for it. The food is really. I ordered the Guacamole and Chips to start and it had really good flavor. I ordered 2 Carne asada and 1 chorizo taco, Mexican style, they were really good. The salsa picante (hot sauce) tastes homemade and was also really good. They have have a good size menu, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. They seem to close a little earlier than other places, so make sure you check the times. Cresent City doesn’t have many choices for restaurants, this one is good and reasonably priced.

Menu prices are outdated. They raised their prices 25%, just figured it out for myself. So they’re just another business that thinks it’s OK when it’s time to pay the bill, that the meal now costs more than expected. It’s not ok, it’s DISHONEST. Then when paying bill, she was upset when I didn’t leave a tip. I told her that NO TIP was the price she had to pay for her dishonesty.
I refuse to return to any DISHONEST business’ like this. SHOPPERS BEWARE, THEY’RE EVERYWHERE, RIPPING OFF THE PUBLIC.
I believe they’re actually charging non-hispanic people more for their meals. That’s called “Discrimination”.
Plus the smell was so bad when I entered, I almost left on the spot. Maybe I should have, but I was having my car worked on and no other restaurants closeby to walk to.
The knife they gave me to use was still dirty. I cleaned the fork myself with hand sanitizer. I hope I don’t get sick later.

I stopped at Palmeras today. Evidently they have three storefronts in a row. The first is Pasteleria, Panderia, which has baked items and ice cream. The next one is a store. The last one is a restaurant. I walked in each one and none of the people working there would acknowledge me. My advice to you is Don’t Waste Your Time. Spend your money somewhere else!

I was robbed at this place. I went with friend who’s been there. She ordered a chili relleno and I tried ordering an egg mc muffin sandwich but they didnt have english muffin so I got regular toast. I asked to separate the items on the plate. When it came down to pay someone else charged us. The total came out to be $30 something not including tip. I tried telling the lady at the register that my order was a breakfast sandwich but with the lack of communication or she plainly didn’t care to listen and charged me for a plate. The food was OK, nothing out of this world. I won’t be going back, and don’t recommend it.

I ordered 2 tacos and 2 burritos from them and they came home as 4 tacos. I called and complained and she swears that it was 2 burritos and 2 tacos. I was really shocked that a mexican person is going to try and pass off a taco as a burrito. I have been there a few other times last year and they screwed up my orders, They used to be a good place to go to eat. They lost my buisness and i will let everyone else know how bad they have gotten.

Was not Welcomed and slow to get service.
Not friendly and we felt like they could careless if we are there or not
