Food is not authentic. Food was not good. Service isn’t good because they force gratuity. I left my entire dish and was still charged. Meat tasted rancid and this soup was brown when it should have been broth. Completely lost my appetite for dinner after 3 bites. When I told my server, she stated she likes the soup and walked away, charged me for my untouched food, and attempted to just give me dessert in response. She didn’t care, because they force gratuity.

We called before we arrived to see if they had ajiaco, the lady who answered said for how many, which was a little odd but we replied “ for two” and we were told yes. So, we drove to the restaurant. The restaurant from a glance looks really promising, so we were excited to find something local. When we finally spoke to our waitress she said there was no ajiaco, and we informed her that we spoke to a lady named Laura, who said that there was. After she came back, we continued with our order. One empanada came slightly warm. The arepa tasted great but was barely warm. My cheese empanada she informed me was being made, so it was the only food item that actually came hot. Then our ajiaco dish came by, the side plate included a cold side of rice, old and discolored salad, and plantains. The ajiaco didn’t have the cream or capers that normally come with it. And I felt bad for our waitress because she kept making multiple stops to drop off items one by one. I was honest when I was asked about the food, she relayed the message to her managers I believe. And nothing was done. It’s okay, I will pay for my check and go but the whole experience was definitely disappointing. Everything felt like it was reheated in the microwave and we couldn’t finish our soup since it wasn’t good. Definitely don’t waste your time coming by, because after reading other reviews, it seems like this is the vibe of this restaurant. I should’ve read the reviews first.

The food was pretty good even though it was little cold the taste was fantastic. The atmosphere was weird since there is no one watching the game and they have the TV’s on full volume and doesn’t make your experience enjoyable. Service was awful. There were 2 servers and none of them know how to do that job. Restaurant should train staff so they give you better service. Other than that everything else was ok.

Ordered breakfast to go. $28 for eggs and arepa for two?!? The arepas themselves were too hard to bite through.
You are better off going to Mi Casita and getting more food for the same price.
