We had the pleasure of eating at the Palm Garden. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. But even better (if that is possible) is the food! The crab Rangoon was so smooth and tasty. That is one dish I am fussy about and I love theirs! Also had the Pad Cashew Nut, and again absolutely loved this dish. Definitely will be coming back!

First of all I would like to say ignore any old reviews as there is a new owner sometime this year.
My wife and I were in town to visit my family and pheasant hunt last weekend 10-18-2025. We were looking for a place to eat other than fast food/places we’ve been during other visits and found the Palm Garden, as my wife is Thai, she of course insisted we go there.
The palm garden has a nice old fashioned atmosphere, we were greeted with a smiling waitress and the new owner Mim is very friendly spending some time talking to us as well when he brought the food. He does much of the cooking and says he has spent a great deal of time perfecting his recipes. We could hear the pride he takes in his cooking as he talked to us.
My wife ordered the Chicken Red Curry with and I had Pad Kee Mao, both were excellent. We finished off the dinner with Mango Sticky Rice, also very delicious.
My wife is very particular when it comes to Thai food/restaurants in the US as many are not very authentic and the Palm Garden put a smile on her face. In our 4 days in Aberdeen we ate there 3 times returning with family members the other 2 visits. Everyone loved the food. Between my wife, myself and family we tried at least 8 different entrees and I can say all were great for us. If unsure or afraid of the heat haha, just ask them for recommendations they can adjust easily.

Reasonable prices. Service was very friendly and we got our food fast. I got the Shrimp and Pineapple fried rice (shown in pic). My son got Shrimp Lo Mein and loved it. The flavors were excellent. And the food was hot. The rice was perfect and the lo mein was excellent. We will return

The food was amazing! We had pad Thai, pineapple fried rice, drunken noodles, and spring rolls! The service was great, very friendly people. My toddler loved everything! And the employees were great with my child as well. Very impressed and will go back when I go back through.

My husband stopped in and ordered food to go to take to a 93 year old family member who doesn’t go out very often but wanted to try Thai food for the first time. While my husband was waiting for the food to be made, I came in and got a booth as I was meeting another family member for lunch there at the restaurant. We were greeted and seated right away by the new owner a his friendly staff. There weren’t too many people when we first got there but more customers came in shortly thereafter. My uncle doesn’t eat spicy food so we ordered him Pad Thai with chicken and no heat. My husband ordered a Red Curry with chicken as well as Gyoza and a side of peanut sauce. I ordered the Yellow Chicken Curry with light heat and my cousin ordered the Pineapple Fried Rice with chicken and light heat. We also ordered egg rolls and edamame for appetizers. There was a small problem with the Gyoza and peanut sauce being left out of the to go sack but the owner and his staff were quick to take care of problem to everyones satisfaction. The egg rolls and the lightly salted edamame were a great start followed by very tasty entrees which we enjoyed as well. We all agreed that we will definitely be returning in the future!

New owner is very nice and personable. I wouldn’t have guessed a Thai restaurant would have delicious chicken wings cooked to perfection! Crispy golden and delicious! Definitely recommend giving them a try. Also the curries are all delicious and they have an excellent pad Thai. Nice little gem in Aberdeen.
