2-9-2022 a very quiet Wednesday afternoon.
Just passing through Kearny on my way to Boulder.
I drove around town looking for a place to to have a drink. I passed a bunch of places. But for some unknown reason I picked this place. Don’t know why it just looked like my kind of place.
What a place! With a really down to earth atmosphere. I enjoyed every minute.
Next time I’m in town, “I’ll be back”

Whoever left a 1* review was obviously having a terrible day. This place is the best kept secret in Kearney. Jaclyn, the bartender, is the best in town hands down. Monty the owner is always amongst his customers. It’s the most chill place in town. If you’re looking for a drink with positive vibes, head to the Palm Garden. Love this place. Best dive bar I’ve ever been to.

Small town friendly little joint (as I recall my Gramps calling a bar) way back when I was a little girl. The owners and staff are very good people and always make a person feel very comfortable and like right at home. Calm atmosphere for the most part. Excellent service and pretty good drinks.

This bar is like Cheers. I come in and everyone knows my name. The owner, Montey is a great guy who really cares about everyone that enters the bar and the bartenders always know who the regulars are. It doesn’t matter what you wear they will always be welcoming, warm and comforting!

Place was dark, grungy and smelled moldy. owner/bartender was extremely rude. They apparently do not take cards, cash only but it’s not posted anywhere. First and last visit ever. Would rate negative stars if I could.

Me an my sister decided to get a drink last night an stopped here when we came in there was this nice guy tlken to us for about 15mins till we realized we weren’t being served on purpose the guy kept saying the bartender was coming meanwhile he was just talking to a group of ppl the whole time when he finally came to the bar after 15 mins the nice guy repeated our order to him about 3-4 times he then went an started serving other ppl who had already been there an had drinks we waited abt 5 more mins then decided to leave he clearly didn’t serve us b.c of our race we are black an everyone in the bar was white I felt embarrassed an humiliated if you are black Latino Asian etc stay away from this bar the worst experience I’ve ever had in all the years of living here don’t give these ppl your money seek help an god!
