I stopped by Plato’s Closet in Sanford and saw this Puerto Rican restaurant. I’m Boricua so I decided to get a plate for dinner so I didint have to cook. The food was delicious and fresh. Staff was friendly. I’m glad I dropped in!

Tried Pa’lla Voy for the first time and everything was so good! The coffee and the Tripleta sandwich was super tasty. The place is really clean and the staff was nice and chill. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Nice place, but not the most accurate Puerto Rican flavor. The mayo-ketchup was missing in my tripleta, and the protein was not very fresh. However, the arroz con gandules was decent, and the pernil was the best choice among what I ordered. Nice place to try if you want a taste some of Puerto Rican food when dining out.

We had lunch at Voy Pa’llá Restaurant and it was amazing! I had the beef stew with white rice and beans — so delicious and full of flavor. My husband had the shredded chicken with rice, also delicious! It really felt just like eating in Puerto Rico . Highly recommend if you’re craving authentic Puerto Rican food!

The food was very good, and the portions were huge. The restaurant is clean, and bright. They have a nice selection of merchandise for sale that is themed with Porto Rico in mind. The walls are tastefully decorated with art.

I was not aware of any Puerto Rican restaurants in Sanford until I found this place by accident. So glad I did give them a try. It is a small, but cozy restaurant with a great staff. They were very friendly and warm people.
If you’re in a hurry, you can order food from the steam table (a staple of PR restaurants). Everything in that table looked delicious.
If you are willing to wait for your food, they have a pretty good a la carte menu.
I had the Mofongo with Shrimp in Garlic sauce. It was a solid dish. Absolutely delicious. And they didn’t skimp on the shrimp either. It was a large portion and I am definitely not complaining about that.
In my opinion, the owners hit a homerun with this restaurant. I wish them the best of luck. Will definitely go back while in the area.

Being Spanish myself it’s hard to find an actual place that cooks like your own mother does. I was really impressed after I tried Palla Voy, after I ordered from them off Door Dash.
I’ve went in person and the staff are nice, place has plenty of seating not a super large restaurant but neither tiny.
The times I’ve ordered, I’ve tried different items.. highly recommend grabbing some Parcha (passionfruit) juice it’s so tasty and refreshing. The pulled pork (Pernil) platter is literally lick your fingers good, you can choose a side and the type of rice you want – I ordered the soft plantains and rice/beans which was amazing. The Macaroni salad is on point too.
However, on another occasion I was craving something sweet so I grabbed the flan to go and I was super disappointed; it is NOT authentic and you can just taste that it is bought in bulk for resale, which really lets them down and the Spanish food and authenticity they’re bringing to the area.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE – eliminate these terrible premade flans and bake the real ones- you would have returning customers just for the flan alone.
Food can be a bit pricey since it’s pretty much Al la carte, but the portions are great. I would recommend to anyone looking for some quality Spanish food.
