We ordered for pick-up and it was a seamless ordering experience, but I just wanted to drop a little feedback re: the actual food, in case it can help Palio’s improve in the future:

1. This pizza tastes *sweet*. I don’t know if it’s the crust or the sauce, but it’s excessively sweet, and sugar for dinner was just not what we were looking for.

2. You’ll pay around $2.50 per topping and they’ll put hardly any on the actual pizza. One example is artichokes— there was maaaaybe one tiny artichoke chunk on each slice.

3. If you select *vegan cheese*, it will be barely sprinkled on top. This would’ve been okay with me if there were enough of the other toppings, but I ended up feeling like I was having flavored crust for dinner, with very little actual substance.

These seem easily fixable so hopefully this can be improved!

Excellent service, nice atmosphere and clean bathrooms. We created basic pepperoni pizzas and got wings and cheese bread for appetizers. The pizza was solid, but we hated that they cut it into squares because we didn’t get crust on most of our bites. We ordered garlic parmesan wings; they were juicy and tender with a great crust, but bland. The cheese bread was excellent! Overall, nice date-night place, but if I go back, I would ask them to cut my pizza into slices. By the way, their pizza crust was pretty good, and their marinara was great.

The pizza is probably good but the service was lacking. After standing at the counter for a while, I was finally approached by someone to take my order. I attempted to order an xl pepperoni pizza only to be told that they were out of xl’s. I questioned if they made their own dough and the young guy said they do, but were too busy to make a xl pizza. This was my first time to visit and unfortunately my last and we left without ordering. It was Sunday night at 7:30. They were not too busy. It seemed more like a strategy to sell more pizza.

Came here on a later Thursday evening so they were pretty busy when we arrived. We were greeted promptly upon entering and the cashier was available for any questions about the menu. They have a sign up front to sign up for text promotions and get an instant 50% off a large pizza so that was a plus! We ordered a pizza and side salads. The salads came quickly but the pizza took a while. When the pizza came it was hot and fresh. The toppings were perfectly portioned and the crust was nice and crispy. This place is BYOB so feel free to bring wine to enjoy while here as well. They do provide wine glasses and corkscrew for you as well. Overall a good pizza place to try.

Tried to go here. 12 pm on Monday 2/16. They were already “out of the lunch special” even though they had only been open an hour. Guy at the register said they only made 15. Their only offer was to ‘upsale’ to the small for $2 more. My dad had driven up from Granbury and there were 5 of us. We left and went to Braum’s. Three other people left too when they found out there was no lunch special.

Follow-Up.

everyone is still very nice and friendly. That hasn’t changed but the food has dramatically. They recently changed how they serve chicken from strips to what I call crumbles. I ordered a chicken sandwich and you can see what I received. Sometimes you can’t even tell you’re getting children in a bite. More cheese, and veggies then meat. Very disappointing. Last time we were there we had to wait at least 25 minutes for food and there was no one there. Unfortunately we’ll have to scratch this place off our list.

We have been customers at the Grapevine location for years, and this was our first visit to the Keller location. The staff were friendly, and the food was excellent. When they were unable to provide two menu items our party had ordered, the manager happily made it right with replacement and refund.

This is my first visit in 5 years. Restaurant definitely looks more worn out. However, giving 5 stars because is BYOB and there is no corkage fee.

Gyro Pizza is excellent, and I don’t even like Greek food that much.

Free parking available in the back of the building.

WOW!!!! Could not be more UNIMPRESSED. We ordered a large gluten-free pizza. To their credit, the crust wasn’t bad as that is usually hardest thing to get right. Unfortunately that is where the positives end. There was little to no cheese and even less sauce and meat (ordered a pepperoni and sausage. The pizza was literally tasteless. Giovanni’s is usually our go to pizza shop but we thought we’d try something different. Safe to say, regret that decision.
