Reviews
I wanna start this off by saying I don’t write reviews, but I knew I had to after I had a terrible experience at this place. I am not speaking on the food whatsoever, as I didn’t even get to try it.
My issue with this place is that they made me wait a whole hour, just to let me know they were barely working on my food. It was busy, but what I’m about to explain next should completely put the situation into perspective. Twenty minutes after ordering my food, I saw a group of four ladies—who were friends with the staff—arrive and order their food. Another twenty minutes passed (so forty minutes after I ordered), and the group of women got their food before me—all four of them. All I had ordered was a torta and three quesabirrias. How did all these women get their food before me and the other customers who came before me? Completely ridiculous. And honestly, what happened next is the reason I’m writing this review: the staff literally stopped working to take selfies with the group of women—for five minutes. Even then, I remained patient and waited for them to bring my food, as I convinced myself it was coming soon. It never came, and I just got up and went to ask at the window if it would be out soon, only to find out they had just started working on it. I just asked for my money back and went to Wings N’ More, ’cause I’ve never been this disappointed in trying out a new place. The staff weren’t even sorry—they were just having a good old time in there.
Response to owner:
Assuming what you say is true, I will go ahead and ignore the fact that I saw them go up to the window, order, then pay for their food. If you knew you had so many call in orders ahead of me, why would you not just inform me that there will be an HOUR DELAY? Had you been transparent with me, it literally could of prevented this entire situation. There is no circumstance where it is appropriate to make someone wait AN HOUR for their food and assume they know that.
