This pizza is by far better than the “popular “ Red Rose pizza, especially since they’ve changed their sauce.. yuk!!! Red Rose has always been my number one and my favorite pizza but no longer. Thanks to Ron, he prepared for us the most Scrumptious, delicious and incredibly tasty pizza. We haven’t had pizza like this in a very, very long time. Let’s talk about that crust it had garlic with Parmesan cheese and it was amazing! My new favorite place!

We ordered 2 large grinders. One steak and cheese and the other was tuna.
They are the biggest and best grinders and very fresh.
Take out today and I’m sure we will have plenty for 2 more full meals.
Palermo staff, this was excellent…..
Outstanding quality food and friendly atmosphere

We’ve been going there past 6years and recently food quality has gone down.. it’s always been really good pizza/grinders. Past 3 times we’ve gotten sour ricotta in our calzone. 2nd time was disappointed with soggy pizza and the third time – ordered grilled chicken salad and a steak and cheese grinders. Steak and cheese grinders has been our favorite with really flavorful steak but this time it was just blend. And the salad, the chicken looked like it was frozen or just boiled fake chicken and had not been cooked at all. Just not appetizing at all.

Got a Large Cheese Pizza for takeout along with Eggplant Parm dinner both were really good. I’ve picked up a large cheese pizza here at least half a dozen times always good.

Consistently very good pizza and grinders. Their wait times are almost always off, I’d plan on picking up 10min later than what they say on the phone. Also avoid the salads, they’re all extremely thickly cut wedge salads that has all of its ingredients lazily thrown onto a container. Great pizza and grinders though once they’re finally ready

Ordered the mini cheese pizza – cheesy and delicious. And the crust was nice and soft with a little crisp, perfect! Great price too.

Very disappointed in Palermo’s tonight. Hadn’t been in a while and picked up two grinders. The roast beef was pathetic- nothing like we used to get with big chucks of hard lettuce and tough roast beef. I couldn’t find or taste (really!) the ham on my grinder because it was so thin. There were two little thin tomatoes on my half grinder and barely any lettuce. These couldn’t hold a candle to the grinders we used to get there. What happened? Probably won’t go back.

This is mostly a carryout place. We didn’t know, so we ordered our pizzas and waited half an hour and ate them at the very small tables. I asked the nice lady with glasses what she recommended and I’m so glad I did: There’s a chicken and broccoli pizza that’s not even on the menu and it was great! It was a white pizza with not a sauce, but fresh garlic, Parmigiana, and butter but not too much, so very nice. I loved the crust because it was crunchy and so pleasantly chewy at the same time. And what I really, loved was that the kids could each get their own pizza for less than eight bucks each! And they weren’t that small either. I am very happy!

after being gone from Ludlow for 47 years, I moved back three years ago have tried every pizza place in town and found them all to be very disappointing to the point to where we never went back to any of them went to Palermo‘s and I’ll tell you this pizza brings me right back to 47 years ago it is perfect in every way. ordered a thin crust combo and added anchovies and it is absolutely The best pizza around.. Staff is very friendly prices are fair. If you haven’t tried them, please do you will not be disappointed

Definitely NOT better than Red Rose. I’d say the pizza was decent, I’ve had far worse, we usually get pizza from Red Rose, Family Pizza South Hadley, but both places were closed today. Pizza was soft but didn’t fall apart, the toppings sort of came off when taking a bite on the middle slices. It wasn’t overly greasy, it sucks to have a pizza that leaks grease, this one didn’t, wasn’t dry either.
