We had a wonderful late lunch there when we arrived. It was really good. We shared our dinner as it was a pretty good size

I would recommend this place highly. The food was fresh and hot and our server Makenna was great

This is a new place and I would highly recommend checking them out!

Food was great and the service was amazing from Mckenna. We went on friday night on jan 2nd and place wasnt very crowded at 8 PM. Presentation was OK but the food was excellent. The veal parmesan was extremely tender with a crispy layer as it should be and the marinara sauce was excellent. The chicken piccata was also very good. Prices were extremely reasonable for the portions. The limoncella martini was amazing… Place has only been open for 3 weeks so they are still figuring out stuff but highly recommend.

I love the Palermo’s locations! Such an amazing family and establishment to support.

I love their drink selection and got an Amaretto sour this time that was 10/10. Their garlic knots were fire and the FREE bread is amazing every time. They do not miss and are adding outdoor seating!!

The food was quite disappointing I got the lasagna and my partner got the Alfredo, neither was good and both were overpriced. The lasagna was extremely oily and the Alfredo had too much sauce, and the sauce was too thick. The menu was too big and the atmosphere of the place felt confusing, wasn’t sure if it was intending to be casual or formal. I feel the experience would be improved with a smaller more focused menu that could be better executed and some decisions about the kind of atmosphere they want to create

5 stars for the food, 3 stars for the atmosphere. This place just opened, and you can tell they are still just trying to get started. That said, they are worth investing your time and money in as I’m sure they will improve. They are ACING it where it matters, which is the quality of the food. The fettuccine is made fresh, in house, and you can absolutely tell, it was delicious and priced AMAZING. The interior decor NEEDS to change, the faux greenery decor on the wall to the right of the counter that was there when this place used to be a Mexican restaurant NEEDS TO COME DOWN, that is completely off brand for an Italian restaurant. Same with the patio! Please, please pull up that nasty turf out there and expose the super cool tiles underneath. The menu is great! The owner is super friendly and genuinely passionate about Italian food and this business. My constructive pointers were for you Felipe! Everyone, let’s keep small businesses in the highlands, this restaurant is worth keeping around.

Baxter location:

Sorry to rate 1 star, but my husband has been waiting 9 days for a $41 refund for food we never received. Spouse went once to pick up food (they didn’t have gluten free). Promised a refund. Nothing. Spouse went back on Wednesday and was promised a refund. Nothing. Owner was going to call my spouse. Nothing. Didn’t even get to eat here. Please refund us and I’ll take this review down.

Food was absolutely fantastic. Portion sizes were more than enough and prices are reasonable.
Service was mid but tbf it was a busy night when we went and they seemed to be trying their best.
Complimentary bread, delicious marinara on the pastas. And our chicken parm was crispy and moist with a cheese pull that went for days. And the balsamic vinaigrette is up there with Boomboz.
Overall great. Definitely our new top contender for best Italian in Louisville
