This was our first time eating here. The place is rather small, kind of gave us a fast food vibe. This place was seriously under-staffed, apparently everyone called off. The owner needs to hold these people accountable. Badrriech our server was not supposed to work the night we visited, she did an excellent job. Whoever owns this place really needs to thank her and the cook. The food here is actually good. The owner needs to step up and save this place as I don’t see it surviving if it continues this way.

We chose this restaurant to celebrate my birthday, as I have always loved the food in the past. There is currently only one server and one chef. I will give props for the food being made fresh and hit, but it took an hour, with reservations, from the time we sat down to get our food and another 20 minutes to get a place for my son’s 12 inch pizza. We were the first to arrive and for the longest time there were only two other parties. As the night went on, more came and the entire experience, I did not chance ordering dessert despite wanting it, two hours! The shrimp Alfredo was delicious, as were the garlic knots. The baked lasagna was too spicy for my daughter, but was basic Italian spices. My son did enjoy his pizza and my mother-law her eggllant parmasean. I think that if there is proper staffing, this place could go back to being a five star location. I was really craving tarimasu, but maybe another time.

The server was very friendly but she couldn’t make up for the food. They were out of calamari and mussels. The lasagna took a while to come out, but we were the only ones in the restaurant. When we received it, it looked great, but looks are deceiving. It was bland with minimal cheese. The bread was also bland and the cheesecake tasted like it was the generic brand at the grocery store. The parking lot was empty when we pulled up but people eventually arrived. My lesson was not to go to a restaurant without customers.

We came in on a Thursday evening to celebrate our recent anniversary. It’s a tiny place but we have known that since we visited for the first time a few years ago. It’s a small staff as well, so considering those factors, we had excellent service and really great food. We were seated right away (lots of space available) and our food was delicious. My husband actually said that their fra diavlo (with chicken) was some of the best he’s ever had (and we grew up on the east coast)!

12 inch pizza $24.00. Our first time ordering from here. Very.. very skimpy on toppings. No pepperoni and sausage on some slices. Onion was finer than a toothpick. Very, very, scarce on toppings. Do not order from this place you will be sorry. West Chester, Ohio.

Needed a gnocchi night out and Palermo’s more than delivered. I had the eggplant rollatini and my husband went with the chicken marsala. His was served with the traditional linguini and was amazing with it’s two flattened chicken breasts and plenty of mushrooms. I selected gnocchi as my pasta side and wasn’t disappointed at all. Both of our dishes came with salad – we wisely had the house dressing. The entrees came with a fantastic garlic knot. We are both taking home a plenty big plate of leftovers. We also ordered brushetta which was good but needed a dash balsamic and a bit more salt. It was served in the garlic knots. It was good but not as good as our entrees. We finished with the lemon cream cake (prepared elsewhere) and the cannoli(put together in the kitchen). All in all delicious.

The wait staff was very nice. The food was ok in general (stromboli, eggplant baked ziti and sausage-meatball appetizer). My meal came out 15 minutes before my wifes. I feel like alot of this could be attributed to one person working in the kitchen. He was definitely running around back there. All in all an experience that was not reminescent of Italy.

First time guest. Recommended by friends. Only a handful of tables on a Friday night, thought we could get in and out in 80 minutes – that proved to be a challenge. 2 entrees, not terribly difficult to prepare, took close to 45 minutes to come out. Chicken marsala had a heaping pile of pasta with about 6 ounces of chicken buried underneath. Felt the $26 charge may have been a little excessive. And $23 for 3 stuffed shells was a bit much. I really was hoping for a better experience. Unsure if we’ll be back…

Excellent home cooked Italian food. Served piping hot. Affordably priced and friendly wait staff. The decor is dated but you aren’t paying for a high-end dining experience.
