They have some great pizza here and I had one of the best sausage Parmesan heroes I’ve ever had in my life ! I just updated my review. I’m sitting with one of the best plates of calamari I’ve ever had It’s hard to get this right and Angelica just hit another home run but she hit the ball out of the park with this one !!!! October 3 2025 tried the mussels and linguine a pallet extravaganza, unbelievable sauce probably the best I’ve ever had ! I have a lot of reviews on Google but I have to keep updating this one because it just keeps getting better and better this was an absolutely amazing meal !!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our dining experience at Palermo Pizza was absolutely outstanding from start to finish! What began as a visit to a pizza place turned into a full culinary adventure that surpassed all expectations.
We started with their delicious pasta fazool soup – a perfect blend of beans, pasta, and savory broth that set the tone for the meal. The appetizers were incredible – both the fried ravioli and calamari were crispy on the outside and tender inside, perfectly executed and seasoned.
That summer salad deserves its own paragraph! It was so amazing we nearly had a friendly dispute over who would get the last bite. I ultimately let my friend, who owns FC CHAOS BOXING, have the final taste – sometimes it’s wise to be generous, especially with someone in the boxing business!
For main courses, we enjoyed the signature Sal Special sandwich with its amazing combination of fried eggplant, fresh mozzarella, and roasted peppers finished with a balsamic glaze. The lasagna was perfection – layers of pasta, cheese, and sauce in perfect harmony. We also tried their rica ball special (a delightful surprise) and believe it or not, a cheeseburger that would make dedicated burger joints jealous!
Who would think a pizza place could excel at so many different dishes? The service matched the quality of the food, and the atmosphere was inviting and comfortable throughout our visit. BUGS IN MY FOOD ! if i could give no stars i would i had an order of 2 salad slices a franchese slice and 2 regular slices and there was 2 huge black bugs and the owner said she would refund me for one piece when i’m telling her o don’t know which slice it actually came from and she’s beyond nasty and rude and said we should call the health department i said i don’t want any of this food because i don’t know what bug it is im not trying to get sick and the way she’s treating me is insane it won’t allow me to add videos to show the other bugs. DO NOT EAT HERE THEY ARE SO MEAN AND RUDE & not clean it looks like that bug was marinated. 35$ for 5 slices of pizza and im treated like a dirtbag with the owner telling me not to come back when it’s evident they have a bug infestation and are taking it out on me it’s not fair it’s not okay to be treated the way i was just treated & i recorded the entire phone call so if anyone wants to hear it i’m sure you’ll all be mortified with the disservice and disrespect while taking no accountability for their actions. what a shame. i wouldn’t come back just because of the way i was treated SHE YELLED AT ME AT THE TOP OF HER LUNGS. i’m so embarrassed and hurt by her words

Palermo Pizzeria on Page Ave is a fantastic casual spot in Staten Island. The food is delicious, and the portions are generous with reasonable prices. I heard a lot of good things about Palermo Pizza in Tottenville so I had to check it out for myself!
As the name suggests, they are Sicilian and they serve some of my favorite Sicilian specialties like panelle (chickpea fritters), arancine (rice balls) and sfincione (a specialty pizza, to die for).
They started us off with a basket of their focaccia – which we were not expecting!
We ordered the Palermo Antipasto platter (panelle, arancine & potato croquettes) and then shared the Grandma Pie with a sesame crust.
Everything was delicious! And we have leftovers (which always makes me happy).
We will definitely be going back. I must have the sfincione….and the Nutella zeppole!

Absolutely delicious Italian pizza, pasta and entrees! There are so many pizza choices, my favorites were the grilled chicken Caesar salad and the Grandma with a sesame seed crust, soooo yummy! We shared the seafood salad with large shrimp, mussels and tender calamari and the beautiful cold cut platter. The pasta with bolognese was fabulous and so was the chicken francese. They even have gluten free pizza and pasta. Finish with cappuccino and the oh so fresh cannolis and zeppoles. Bring the entire clan as the prices are very reasonable at this wonderful family friendly restaurant.

The first thing you notice upon entering this Pizzeria restaurant is the vast array of available pizza choices ( I counted 12 in the display) but this is just the beginning as this very accommodating staff will customize your pizza and toppings. There is Sicilian, Grandma, Gluten free and their Standard pizza doughs in thin or regular crusts but then an authentic sauce and endless combinations for toppings sets them apart as they meticulously create your order. Salvatore, Angela & Angelika run an impressively trained staff who more than deliver treating each customer like family. I was very impressed with the depth of flavor in their Vodka & Marinara sauces but there are many choices on their extensive entree menu. They have a meatball rollup, a very tender Philly Cheesesteak, Garlic Knots & Calzones that I’m still thinking about! They are known for their daily homemade Zeppolli’s regular and chocolate filled OMG! Portions and prices are more than reasonable. When weather permits there is outside dining and wheelchair access. Oh & on Saturday evenings there is even entertainment but make a reservation as they have a big following and this family gives back to its community in many ways.
