They kicked off the experience with fresh chips and frijoles fritos that had this smooth, rich flavor with what tasted like a touch of chorizo. Not your average “bean dip” this was comfort food with personality. And then the salsa lineup? Four different flavors that each brought something different to the table: the bold molcajete-style salsa, a smooth avocado salsa, bright pico de gallo, and a red salsa with just the right punch. Honestly, it felt like a whole tasting flight before the meal even started.
The chicken fajitas came out sizzling and beautifully plated. Perfectly seasoned, juicy, and paired with grilled onions, peppers, fresh guacamole, and a side of white rice that balanced everything out. It looked good, and it tasted even better.
The restaurant itself is clean, modern, and comfortable, great lighting, great vibe, and you can tell they take pride in every detail, from the presentation to the service.
Overall, this was an exceptional dining experience. I’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu. Highly recommend.
Service began at entrance with the host, seated within 1 min (arrived at 12:30 pm). was attended by server like he was just waiting for us (was VERY quick). Observing the other servers at there tables, the bar etc I can see they where very attentive to there tables, friendly, good welcoming vibe.
Atmosphere: From Carrabba’s Italian Grill to Palenque Grill what a Major Make-over, was very impressed of the inside. Very warm feeling, clean (it’s a new place, so of course), the design of the wall, the furniture etc was very elegant. A place you definitely wanna impress someone.
Food: Chips/salsa/beans was awesomely delicious (be careful, just might get full with that meal alone). Water is filtered very well, lemonade is good and refreshing.
1) 2 1/2 stars for the G-Panchos (known as nachos) meat was tender, chips are good, guacamole good/fresh, beans was actually good, was shorted on cheese (the plate was round, was not the picture on menu, plate on menu was oval, so seems it was a pile of nachos mountain pile). 2) 4 stars G-Green Enchiladas, beans rice good, chicken was tender and plenty of it, the souse was good, but was limited, meaning not enough sauce so might need to ask for extra when ordering it.
3) 2 1/2 stars G-Tilapia WAY WAY to much cheese on top of the tilapia, felt the fish wasn’t cooked enough, slight slim to cook. rice was good, the grill shrimp was cooled down so when we got the place was cold.
Final word: would I visit this place again, yes, would I order the same plate (nachos/tilapia: nope green enchiladas maybe). Price is high so expect a bill (worth it, depends on what you ordered). Once you order your food, expect a long wait. clean restrooms, good music and a beautiful TV that changes images.
(especially on weekends). Parking is also hard to find. Overall a very popular restaurant and a nice place to for a celebration. Definitely worth trying at least once 🙂
