I ordered the Vegan Bowl at Palenque Cocina y Agaveria and it was absolutely delicious. The cauliflower and mushroom al pastor was packed with flavor and paired perfectly with the spinach, potato purée, pineapple, and crispy onions. It comes with a choice of beans, but I happily paid the small upcharge to get both, which I highly recommend.
I also added a side of chips and salsa and used the chips to scoop up the bowl. Was it too much food? Definitely. Did I eat all of it anyway? Also yes. It was that good.
The menu has tons of vegan options, including vegan cheese, which makes this place a standout if you eat plant based. Everything felt thoughtful, satisfying, and full of flavor. I’ll absolutely be back.

I ordered chips & salsa & guac for the table. Salsa was bang on, so yum & gauc was also on point!! We ordered chicken tinga tacos and vegan taco, both were good, but felt like it could be more flavourful especially the vegan one. We also got the Sopes which we were trying for the first time and it was good, messy to eat but good flavour and taste. Although we order chicken tinga sope and our order was messed up as they got us all 3 veggie sopes instead of 2 chicken & 1 veggie, we ended up eating it coz it was good!

My wife and I frequently come here! Food is really good and comes out fast, sometime too fast! Atmosphere is good especially in the summertime when you can look out on main street in downtown Littleton from the patio above and below. Margaritas are top notch. Check it out!

Some of the best baria and crispy tacos! Don’t sleep on the civicehe either. The service is always a hit, and Itzel is a standout server! Always so attentive and helpful when deciding what to order. She is incredibly wonderful with children as well! We keep coming back for her, the food & delicious margaritas. Love their rooftop patio too!

Palenque was very good. The atmosphere was probably the best part. They put a lot of time and thought into all of the details of the restaurant from the bar to the dining room to the rooftop. The food was also great, the carnita tacos and the palenque chicken both were 8/10. The queso was good but it was a little too thick but still tasty. Staff were on top of things and friendly. Will definitely go back next time I’m in the area.

One of the best aspects of El Palenque is the wide variety of options available. My family was able to choose exactly what they wanted, ranging from traditional tacos to delicious vegan and vegetarian selections. As a vegetarian myself, I was delighted to find the vegan tacos—absolutely delicious and perfectly satisfying. The nistamal tortilla added a fantastic touch that made the meal even better!
The ambience of the restaurant is inviting and vibrant, creating a wonderful atmosphere to enjoy a meal with family. On top of that, the service was excellent—attentive and friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable.

Awesome spot for Mexican food with unbeatable happy hour deals on both food and drinks. Everything came out super quick, fresh, and full of flavor. Great place if you’re trying to stay protein focused plenty of solid options. Our server was on point friendly and super attentive. The rooftop seating adds a chill vibe, and the portions are generous. Honestly, everything was so good we didn’t leave a single chip behind even dessert disappeared fast.

Birria tacos were very lacking. Shrimp tacos were good. My issue is that they didnt bring us chips and salsa like every other Mexican restaurant, so we asked them for some. They didnt bother telling us that it was actually extra and not free (like every other Mexican restaurant). We only learned after looking at the receipt that they charged us for it. I looked for signs on the wall, table, or even the menu and it said nothing about this. I asked the waitress about this and her immediate response was “Its always been extra”. I told her this is our first time here and how would we know about this when no one told us, theres no signs, and seems to be nothing in the menu about this? I could tell she didnt quite like me standing my ground but she did take it off with no problems. Other thing is the margaritas were gross. We ordered 3 different kinds between the two of us and they all were gross. Pretty disappointed as half of their menu was a huge selection of mezcals and tequila

The Carne Asada taco tasted delicious but the meat was dry.
The Al Pastor and Carnitas Tacos were perfect.
Refried beans were very good.
The appetizer Quesadilla with shrimp and grilled onions added was perfect for an entree.
