A place in the center of the tourist city. If you’re looking for a quiet place, good wine, sushi, and fusion food, you’ve come to the right place. The staff is excellent. The manager is very attentive and knowledgeable. Good, simple dishes with a special touch. So, your simple ceviche becomes a delicious, fresh meal. The sushi is excellent, the small roll is well-made with a touch of skill. Excellent wine. The prices are fair for the location. The place is unique and feels like a true luxury palapa. We’ll be back soon. Great job, guys.

The ambiance was amazing and we enjoyed it from entry to exit. Very unique vibe to the place.
The food was spectacular. Our salad and sushi came out first as requested and was immediate. They were both delish. My tenderloin steak was cooked to perfection and my wife was extremely happy with her pasta. The dessert was also fantastic.
This place is a must go while visiting St Maarten. Easily my favorite dinner yet.

Me and my two girlfriends dined at Palapa on Monday December 8th to celebrate my birthday. Everything was absolutely fabulous. The ambiance was gorgeous and created the perfect vibe for a birthday dinner. The playlist, the lighting, and the holiday decor created the perfect festive atmosphere to enjoy some delicious food. We ordered the coconut shrimp, ribeye, Salmon and the Sea Bass. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The best part of the dining experience was the service. Our waitress Valerie was a JOY!! She was warm, welcoming , professional and very attentive. Her attention to detail and infectious smile added to the amazing vibe of the restaurant. If we are ever in St. Maarten we will definitely dine here again.

Anyone who says this place is anything other than a 10/10 is wild. I was worried it would be another fancy “vibey” spot with mediocre food. Boy was I WRONG. Vibes were immaculate but the food was out of this world. I am a big foodie and I was blown away. Everything we had was 10/10. Ceviche, salmon carpaccio, tuna sushi roll, hanger steak with peppercorn sauce and even the raspberry dessert. Do yourself a favor and GO. Thank me later

This place is fabulous. The atmosphere is so unique, the drinks are crazy good, and the food was perfectly cooked and served. I was disappointed that the sushi was not on the menu because it was so good last year. I decided to try the New Zealand filet. Holy cow….it was one of the best I’ve ever had!! This will continue to be one of my favorites on the island.

Palapa was hands down my best dining experience on the island. Our waiter, Lemson, was professional, courteous, and truly made us feel special. We celebrated our anniversary there and were welcomed with a complimentary glass of Prosecco each, which was such a thoughtful touch.
It’s clear the owner runs a tight ship—in the best way. The level of teamwork among the staff was exceptional, unlike anything I’ve seen at a restaurant before. Every staff member we passed greeted us warmly, and everyone was impeccably groomed and professional.

The overall experience just seemed okay. Our server was somewhat attentive but didn’t offer recommendations and didn’t go over the menu. The wait time was also quite long. My party was also seated closer to the entrance and we witnessed many cockroaches coming out of the nearby soil. Not the best when trying to eat. As for the food, it was decent at best. The dishes weren’t too flavorful but they also weren’t bad. We were also celebrating a birthday and waited quite long for the restaurant staff to sing Happy Birthday.
