If you go, you HAVE to ask for Neil. He provides top-tier service every single time (we always joke that us bald guys have to stick together! ). He makes you feel like family.
Now, let’s talk strategy. You have to start with the appetizers: the Samosas, Fish Pakora, and Mixed Tandoori Grill are absolute must-haves to get things going.
They have a massive selection of vegetarian dishes—my personal favorites are the Malai Kofta and the Navratan Korma (the royal dish of India). But don’t worry, they cover all the bases with amazing fish, chicken, beef, and lamb dishes, too. (You can’t go wrong with the Chicken Makhani/Butter Chicken).
They take customization seriously here—spice levels range from Mild all the way up to ‘Indian Hot’ if you’re brave enough! ️ Wash it all down with a Mango Lassi.
This is the perfect spot if you want a relaxed atmosphere where you can really take your time. Plus, it’s BYOB! Cannot recommend this place enough.
Try their tandoori chicken, chicken kadai and goat curry. Mouth watering delicious food.

Ambience – ok, flies, and fruit flies all around the food 1/10
Plates were not properly cleaned, food still stuck to it. 1/10
Manchurian – Raw, soggy and uncooked from inside 1/10
Hara bhara kebabs – soft, overall alright, the chutneys were good 6/10
Malai kofta – bland, lacking flavor, had raisins in it with did not go with the overall flavor profile and wasn’t good texture wise either 5/10
Paneer masala – paneer was way too chewy and dry- even with the gravy 6/10
The naan were the only exceptional part of the meal – really fluffy delicious and thin. 9/10
The overall service was fine as well – 8/10
I’m so disappointed to write this because Palace of Asia – Maple Shade used to be AMAZING. I used to dine here years ago when the food was truly top-notch, so I decided to give it another chance for my birthday after a long time.
Huge mistake.
The biryani they served me smelled like rotten socks. The chicken was clearly spoiled and could have made all my guests sick. This isn’t just bad food — it shows a complete lack of quality control and care for people’s health.
I’m done. Never ordering from here again. Any place that cuts corners on something as serious as food safety is not a place I’ll ever trust again.
That said, I’m giving it 3 out of 5 stars for one reason: during one visit, a server mentioned that tips left on credit cards go to the Owner and not them, so he asked me to tip in cash, which was concerning. I now always bring cash for tipping to ensure the staff receives it directly.
