Marinated BBQ’d meats, spicy Korean soups, stews & sides, plus all-you-can-eat options.

First time going, had a great experience. So much food, all you can eat for just $40. The Garlic Chicken and Spicy marinated Pork were our top two favorites. But everything we got was great. Got also the Beef brisket (which they give you a lot), the Spicy marinated Shrimp, and the Spicy marinated Chicken. For two people who are hungry, only 4-5 meat dishes needed. They do not let you take any leftovers home unfortunately. Even if you cook it. Also got their fried rice, the Kimchi Soup (really good), and the Cold Noodle dish (not that great, or just not our favorite thing compared to everything else and was unnecessary). It was my husband’s first time having Korean BBQ, so was fun and he really enjoyed getting to cook his own meat and he loved everything and how much we got.

We went to Korean bbq Palace in Federal way yesterday, 02/01/26, Sunday. There was a server who is very rude, intimidating and disrespectful! I do not appreciate her service at all. She was the only lady who is wearing glasses yesterday. We ordered more meat and it never came because guess what, the person who got our order got in trouble from her because of it and our last order never came at all!! I would say that we are regular customers here and I have never experienced such kind of service there before never except from her. If I’ll go there again and she is there I would turn my back and walk out. Food is great, we come hungry but if the service is like hers no, thank you!

Palace is always my go to KBBQ place! I’ve tried many, but always come back here. Large variety of meats, great sides, and friendly service!
My favorite meats at the cow tongue, kalbi, spicy chicken, brisket, but there’s so much more. The servers check in for meat orders, refill banchan and drinks, and change grills frequently. If something needs to be changed out or refilled more often, it’s not a problem to call someone over and ask.
The AYCE sides are so good as well – favorites being the corn cheese, kimbap, soft tofu soup, steamed egg, and Korean ramen! the Korean ramen comes with just noodles and broth, but I always grill up some meat & add some banchan to it for extra flavor. You can also get side salads and lettuce to make a wrap.
Love the purple rice, sesame oil dipping as well! Sometimes the grill heat will need to be adjusted, but you can always do that at the side of the table.

*** after dining at a couple Korean BBQ places I have decided to increase my review from 3 to 4. I really like their dipping sauce and this restaurant has a wider selection of meats. The only thing here I don’t like is that they constantly change your BBQ plate so you have to take time to let it reheat in the middle of eating which is a great way to get the customer to slow down.
This place isn’t bad but there’s definitely different out there. I wish they had a larger selection of dipping sauces and I wish the server hadn’t poured all our frozen meat on a cold grill and the pork belly is a bit too thick but it was a fun time. They also charge a living wage fee which is ridiculous because I’m already paying their wage by eating here, then tipping so is that charge supposed to be instead of a tip cause you’re only getting one bite at this apple.

Palace in federal way has always been one of my favorite places to get kbbq. Sometimes we would even come 2-3 times a week just cause we like it so much. But our visit on Nov 4th, 2024, really ruined our long standing good impression of this place. We arrived at around 8:03pm, we had noticed the parking only occupied a few cars, so we had asked if they were still receiving guests, in which they said they are. We were seated, and weird colored liquid dripped on my girlfriend, one of the older server ladies told us its “just water” “just water” and walked away without offering us napkins or even checking if the liquid will stop dripping on us or our food. Then our order was wrong and was not corrected until we had to call for a different server(also an older lady). After just barely enjoying our meal for 10mins, at 8:28pm, one of the ladies told us it is last call for sides. Which is odd, because all the times we dines here, we never had to do last call this early. On top of that, the menu also indicates sides are available until 9pm. We complied and ordered how much we usually eat whenever we come dine in for the rest of our meal.(4 corn cheese) To which the ladies would give us attitude and vibes like they are not happy with that. On this note, we actually come here mostly for the sides than for the meat. Everytime, we would eat more sides than meat anyways. (To those who think its excessive to order 4 corn cheese for the rest of our meal lol). After rudely dropping off our sides and said “no more corn cheese ok”, we never saw anyone again. No one came to ask if we wanted more meat, or refilled our drinks, or checked on us, there were only 2 tables in the store at this time. Once we got another plate of cow tongue ordered, we wanted to get our grilled changed. Even as smoke was filling the air, nobody came. I had to come up to the back to ask someone to come change the grill. And, still, no one came after being asked the first time. (First attached pic is of our grill). After waiting for another 10-15mins with no one, i went again to ask for a grill change. (Second pic is how bad our grill got). But worst of all, once the grill is changed, and we thought we could finally eat, i dumped the plate of cow tongue thats been sitting untouched on our table on the grill, and we found hair in the meat lol. At this point, all appetite was lost, and we just wanted to get out of there. To which we ALSO had to go find someone to get checked out. When i told them about the hair, the lady gave no response or apology whatsoever. We left at around 9:10-9:15pm. To which their closing time is 10pm. Honestly, if they were planning to treat us like this and not let us enjoy our AYCE meal like their paying price entitles us to. Why take us in? I would have preferred them to just turn us away and tell us they were closing early, so our impression of one of our favorite places doesn’t get ruined like this.

Selection: unlimited pork belly, cattle intestine, cows tongue, shrimp, squid, marinated meats and so much more! Unlimited sides of gyoza, soup, cheesy corn and so much more! Comes with appetizer of radish, kimchi, mashed potato, broccoli, been sprout.
Price: Dinner and weekends $42/pp. Payment after eating. Soju $16-$17, beers at $6. I recommend buying a groupon voucher to save money.
Ambiance: tall ceiling, open floorplan but divided by 3 rooms.
Staff: super attentive and they replace the grill top as soon as it gets smokey and accumulate black burnt spots.
Missing 1 star because $42/pp on a weekend or dinner is crazy expensive. If you can’t eat a lot, it’s not worth it. I’m a small eater but would love to eat kbbq once in a great while. Just go to feast buffet in Renton for $25 and you got international cuisine selection.
Home-made: you can buy large amount of meat at H-mart across the street. Shredded pork belly for $10+, premium beef cuts for $15+, fish cake for $6 and so much more! Electric grill for $20 and you can literally do kbbq from your own home while you enjoy your favorite show etc. Your $40/pp at Korean palace will last you 3 days worth of food it you do it from home. Soju at H-mart is only $7

Food was ok. Needed more spices, it’s kind of bland. Service was not the best, came in there’s nobody upfront had to wait for a while and employees were passing by without acknowledgement. Place needs some deep cleaning! The person that assisted us had an attitude problem.

Looking for great-tasting KBBQ with some Soju/Beer in the Seattle-Tacoma metro, this is the place! The steamed egg, side dishes, and the beef brisket are amazing! Will come again when in town.

My lunch at Palace Korean Bar and Grill was an exceptional experience, particularly as someone who lived in Korea for three years. The authenticity of the restaurant is impressive, right down to the “call for service bells” on the tables, a feature that’s quintessentially Korean.
The highlight of my visit was the opportunity to meet the owner, whose warmth and friendliness added a personal touch to the meal. For my dishes, I chose the brisket, pork belly, and blood sausage. The quality of the meat was outstanding – fresh, flavorful, and prepared with care!
Another standout aspect was the banchan. These Korean side dishes were not only abundant but also remarkably delicious, offering a variety of tastes and textures that perfectly complemented the main courses.
The service at Palace Korean Bar and Grill was also noteworthy. It was quick, efficient, and carried out with a level of professionalism that made our dining experience seamless and enjoyable. For those who have had different experiences with service times, I suggest utilizing the innovative bell system for prompt assistance. This feature not only adds to the authentic Korean dining experience but also ensures prompt attention from the staff.
In conclusion, Palace Korean Bar and Grill is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Korean cuisine. Their commitment to quality, from the food to the overall dining experience, truly sets them apart. I wholeheartedly give them five stars and recommend this place to both Korean food enthusiasts and newcomers alike.
