Palace Dumplings in Wappingers is absolutely awesome. The service is fast, and the staff is always courteous and friendly, which makes every visit feel welcoming. This was my second time eating in, and I’m officially hooked on their beef noodle soup. The seasoning on the beef is incredible—rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. I came back specifically for the soup, and it did not disappoint!
I usually order steamed dumplings for pickup, and they’ve always been great, but after trying the soup, it’s become my new obsession. If you’re in the area, you have to give this place a try. Delicious food, great people, and consistently excellent service. Highly recommended!

Found this spot by total accident during lunch, and I’m so glad we did. The highlight was easily the food:
Dumplings: Incredibly flavorful and perfectly prepared.
Mochi: “Dynamite” is the only way to describe it—the perfect texture and taste.
We’ll definitely be back!

We had an amazing experience at Palace Dumplings. We tried the Spicy Noodle Soup and the Pork & Chives Stem Dumplings. The dumplings were mind-blowing—so flavorful, comforting, and perfectly cooked. Honestly, some of the best dumplings I’ve had in the area. (Note: I’m not a dumpling expert)
The soup was incredible too—spicy in the best way, the kind of heat that makes you sweat but you love every bite. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area. I brought my family, and they all loved the food as well. Definitely a top spot in Wappinger for authentic, delicious dumplings and soup!

Discovered this place just by luck, went to pick apples first and my daughter was begging for dumplings for quite some time. Looked up for place and this one showed up on my maps, looked at the reviews and seemed decent when I got there with my family of seven the place does not look anything like outside and aside from that. There’s a pizzeria right next-door. There’s two different entrances so just be careful on that and don’t get confused. We asked for a seven top table and we seated pretty fast. We went around 6:30 and there was a few tables already eating we looked at the menu and wasn’t sure what we were gonna get but for sure dumplings. We picked shrimp w. pork, pork w. chives, we got chicken lo mein and wonton soup. There were a couple of sauces at the table to choose from anything from soy sauce, garlic vinegar and the best one of them was the spicy chili sauce. My family is Hispanic and man that sauce made everything taste BETTER!!!!! Do I recommend yes my daughter loved their soup! 1000/10 that’s how good it was but if you don’t believe this try it for yourself definitely worth it. Mind you my last thing is we are from Brooklyn, and there are other places probably closer and good as well but I would definitely be back to get this soup and try all the other choices all orders are 12 steamed if you do want them fried it’s another $2 but I can’t say much to that because we didn’t try them but I am sure they are delicious as well!

SO GOOD!!
These are not your heavy, gummy dumplings..
These are airy, light pillows of YUM… you will never go back to any other dumpling!
Pork and Shrimp for me..
Pork and Cabbage for Hubby.
He also had a spicy noodle soup.
Egg and onion fried rice was delicious (we asked if this was possible and they were very accommodating).
Great sauces too!!

On my list for a while and finally got to try Palace Dumplings. Set back in a strip mall with plenty of parking. Lots of pork choices which is typical. As a non pork eater there was plenty on the menu. Dumplings and noodles were light, delicate and tasty. Service was excellent. Will be back!

My friends absolutely love this place. It’s not bad, I just dont understand the hype. I’m not a huge fan of dumplings to begin with, so maybe that’s why I’m not super impressed. The dumplings are ok – a bit bland, in my opinion. The dipping sauces are good and way more tasteful. I ordered fried dumplings, which were an extra $2 – which seems ridiculous to me because they only fry one side. It’s not using $2 more of time or product to fry one side of a dumpling. The prices are a little high to begin with ($12 for an order of 8 dumplings) so to charge an extra $2 brings it even more over the top. The fried rice is very good but also pricey – $12 for a basic portion of fried rice with no meat. Overall, it’s not very tastey and a bit pricey, so I would ony come back here if my friends outvote me.

We would like to try all varieties of their food. From dumplings to noodles and rice. The meat on the noodles are way salty.
And ordered another beef noodles soup, the meat was tough , chewy and not edible. We ends up just paid $25 for 2 bowls of plain noodles.
The dumplings wasn’t same as before. The filling was saltier than before, I can’t dip their own sauce coz way too salty itself. The fried rice basically are oil MIX with white rice with just couples thin slice of Chinese sausage.

The food and service were both amazing. My wife had chicken and cabbage dumplings. I ordered pork with sour cabbage dumplings with wonton soup. I am getting hungry just thinking about that yummy meal. I do not recall our servers name but she did great. The prices were competitive. We highly recommend Palace Dumplings and will revisit soon. Yum!

Palace Dumplings is every bit as good as the majority of reviewers state. I generally order dumplings and soup, which are delicious, but I’m certain that everything else is too. I’ve been to both locations, and they’re equally as good. You won’t be disappointed.
