Visited this lovely Italian spot for Valentine’s night this year and last year too, and it always feels cozy and romantic. The appetizers completely stole my heart ❤️ the burrata salad was fresh and creamy, and the grilled calamari was perfectly cooked and super flavorful. The pastas (chicken al pesto and lamb ragu) were decent and satisfying, though not the highlight for me. Overall, it’s a sweet place for a date night with a warm atmosphere and great starters. I’d definitely come back again for the vibes and those appetizers ❤️

Such a lovely hidden gem! Paisano’s has been around for 50+ years, and you can really feel that warm, “regulars love this place” vibe as soon as you walk in. The interior is cozy and old-school in the best way.
We tried the chicken chowder soup, burrata salad, breaded artichokes, meat lovers’ pizza, lemon veal, fillet of sole—and the desserts (tiramisu, crème brûlée, tartufo) were amazing. Everything tasted homemade and made with care.
Service was fantastic too—our server has been doing this for over 20 years and it shows.
If you love authentic, comforting Italian food and supporting local spots that treat you like family, definitely check out Paisano’s. I completely get why so many regulars keep coming back!

Paisano’s is such a classic North York gem! We had brunch there and everything was delicious — Benny del Paisano, Frittata, and the Pane Dorato were all huge portions and very satisfying.
We also tried their dinner another time and it didn’t disappoint: the pizza and pasta are authentic and flavorful, and we finished with a really good tiramisu — creamy and just the right sweetness.
A cozy, old-school Italian spot that has clearly earned its 70+ years of history. Highly recommend for both brunch and dinner!

Very nice spaghetti and meatballs. Meatballs feels home made and delectable, the sauce is just right, not too salty or sour. Fried Caramari has a slight spicy tang, also delicious. Shrimp Portobello Pasta was also very tasty, light and with perfectly grilled shrimps. Good service and right level of attention by the waiter. Not too intrusive, but everything cleared in short order to keep things tidy. One of the best Italian places I’ve visited in Toronto yet. Will return.

My friend and I had dinner here tonight and the food was good as expected. But our server, Calvin, ruined our experience! He came by our table 10-15 times (lost count!) that didn’t let us comfortably enjoy our time. He was in rush to take our order while the whole time that we were there, more than half of tables were empty and not at peak time. He even asked us twice if we want tea, coffee or desert and when we said no because we were pretty full, he brought us the bill! We felt very unwelcome as he wanted us out quickly! This all happened in an hour.
If you go there and he’s your server, just ask for someone else and enjoy your food and time.

The photo is the special – seafood soup with white wine and saffron. I didn’t care for it. The other guest totally enjoyed what they ordered. I guess for myself I didn’t make the right choice. The service and atmosphere are fine. I will go back.

This place was fantastic! The food was amazing. Pizza was delicious and the fried calamari had zero rubbery texture to it all; one of the best calamari dishes I’ve had. We came fory mom’s birthday and Calvin went above and beyond in his service…he was accommodating, attentive and made sure we were completely satisfied.
Will definitely be coming back!

Thank-you for supporting local schools, I bid on a gift certificate at the Hollywood fun fair. I have seen this restaurant over the years but never had a chance to eat there. This was my first visit and had a wonderful dinner.
The antipasto was delicious and fresh.
The Tuscan pizza was my favourite and I was able to substitute whole wheat for a small fee.
Lamb ragu pasta was a generous size and cooked perfectly.
The house made bread was room temperature, I thought it would be at least be warmed.
Some of the decor is a bit dated, with the wood floors worn out in many places. Chairs stacked along the half wall in the middle of the restaurant. The hanging fly trap near the bathroom was an eyesore.

My daughter and her 9 friends had the most wonderful time at the restaurant this evening! The server was friendly and attentive and made the experience more enjoyable!
