My girlfriend and I are both gluten free (she’s also dairy free) so it’s rare to get to eat Italian food and this was fantastic. Super accommodating of allergies, no problem explaining everything, and the food was incredible.

I was so excited to visit Paisanos tonight for my birthday. I had heard so many things and had so many recommendations for their gluten-free good. When we got there, we were immediately greeted and asked if we needed a gluten-free menu, which was impressive. We were sat and the server came by in a decent amount of time. We started the meal with calamari, which was tasteless and soggy like it was thrown in the dryer with too much ice on it. Couldn’t finish it. The kitchen was very slow, we waited for quite some time for the entrees. My partner’s break parmigiana was mostly just breading. My partner actually stated that he had better spaghetti from Chef Boyardi. I got the carbonara, took one bite and decided I would just take it home to see if I could fix the flavor. I ended up just throwing it away and wasting all of that money. Was excited for a restaurant that really understands gluten-free food but I’ll skip this one.

The server was slow but new and did his best to take care of us.

Oh man, not sure why anyone would not give this place 5 stars. By far the BEST Italian restaurant I’ve ever been to!
The calamari was fresh and had some special sauce that was delicious, following the pasta plates, just melted in your mouth with every bite.

If I ever find myself in Albuquerque again, this is a must stop.

I was not impressed with Paisanos. We went on a Thursday evening and ordered six entrees. We had to wait twenty minutes for a table and then waited nearly 35 minutes for our entrees, all of them were pasta dishes. The kitchen was incredibly slow, as most of the patrons in the room had no food and were waiting as well.

I have no idea what took so long to prepare six pasta dishes.

The food was so-so. Though by the time it arrived to us we were thoroughly ravenous and ate all of the dish. I had spinach ravioli, which tasted plain and very soft. I would not order it again. For the expense and reputation, I would certainly expect a faster kitchen and more flavorful foods.

I will not be returning.

Just might be the best Italian food in New Mexico. Today they had Sacilian specials. Everything tasted delicious. The service was exceptional. No wait. Not too busy. I highly recommend

I ordered the eggplant parmesan, but I felt there was too much sauce, which affected the flavor. I didn’t enjoy it as much as other eggplant parmesan dishes I’ve had. It was also on the pricey side—just over $30. I only paid for myself and one other person and the bill was just over $100, including the tip.

A couple of orders at my table took quite a long time to come out because they were slight variations from the menu. I had to ask about the status of the order.

Was just passing through and stopped for a romantic dinner and it was fantastic! I am gluten free and have never had so many gluten free options from bread to pasta/pizza AND all desserts. Even my gluten loving husband couldn’t taste a difference. All the food and service was incredible.

Their website lists out of date prices, and they don’t disclose credit card fees until it’s time to pay. We paid $24 for a pathetic little piece of lasagna that comes with nothing else. I feel so ripped off. It was my first time here and I will never return. Business owners: take a little pride in running your business please and update your website.

Food is really good and they start you off with a nice assortment of bread to nibble on. My friend says they have the best eggplant ever, but I wouldn’t know for sure, since I don’t like eggplant. They do offer gluten free food if needed.

We had an amazing experience at Piasanos. We are trying all the restaurants that offer gluten free dining and Piasanos doesn’t just offer GF food, they make you feel special and are genuinely trying to accommodate and even spoil the GF diner with celiac. The food was excellent; the service was the best we’ve had in years. It was worth driving to Albuquerque for and we are thinking we will return for our anniversary. Thank You so much for an excellent experience.
