If we lived in town, this is where we’d bring visitors. The quality of the food for the price is hard to find these days. We had a table of 8 for lunch and literally every person at the table raved about their order. Lots of forks were being passed around to share with each other. I wish I had taken a picture to add to this review but the Chiles en Nogada, which was recommended, was so good! At the table were cheese enchiladas, chicken enchiladas, enmoladas, fish tacos and a Cobb salad. Again – everyone was in love!

This was such a great find ! Yummmmy! The in house mole choices here will blow your mind. My pablano vegano was so good after one bite I lost all restaurant etiquette and started plowing away at my dish . Then realized I didn’t get a picture of the stuffing , it was that good .

This place is incredible. Each dish offers unique flavors unlike anything I’ve had before. The French toast was perfectly made—not too sweet—with just the right balance of flavors, local fruits, and pecans. The stuffed pepper was exceptional. If I lived in Las Cruces, I’d be a regular here. If you’re looking for something above average, this is the spot. You won’t be disappointed, and the prices are reasonable.

A very different take on Mexican food than most restaurants in Las Cruces. I love hot green and red chile but this was muted but still good. Chicken Enchiladas with Verde Mole sauce were good, no spicy heat whatsoever, but flavorful, chicken was good. Guacamole was really good though a little on the chunky side for my liking, chips were fresh and crisp. The green salsa I didn’t really care for, very mild and had a different taste that was kind of weird. Beans and rice were also not what you normally get in LC, mild white rice and black beans, both were good just bland, a little salt made them 10 times better. Will go back to try the other Mole with Chicken.

What a lovely place to stop for a great meal! It was lunchtime and several tables were seated, but it wasn’t overly crowded. The menu has a great variety of dishes with something for everyone. Our waitress was informative, attentive, and very pleasant. The ambiance is nice with music (a modest volume so you could carry on a conversation) and artwork tastefully displayed on the walls.
We tried the quecas with huitlacoche to start. It had such great corn flavor and a delicious filling. Our waitress also provided a flight of their mole. All of them were wonderful. For entrees, we had the enmoladas and the poblano vegano. Both were very well prepared and tasted great.
This was an excellent spot for a great meal and great service. We will definitely return when we’re in the area.

NM Hedge
Tuna Steak was bigger than expected and delicious. The sweet mashed potatoes with coconut sounded weird but was literally one of the most delicious things I’ve ever eaten. The Tampiqueña was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Both of us ate almost everything, as portions were large, but it was so good we couldn’t stop eating. We will definitely be back for more!! Note that the photos were taken after we ate a few bites because we couldn’t wait. The food presentation was perfect before we dug in. Wow!

Server was very nice and did a good job. All together they seemed stretched though as the service was kind of slow, with long waits.

Gourmet food on a casual budget. The atmosphere felt as if we were in a cafe in a Latin country with the music playing out on the patio. It was very clean and our waitress was so friendly and helpful with the menu. She suggested the buttered and toasted Baguette bread to go with my shredded chicken caldo and each bite felt like a treat. She suggested the red chile salsa for the chilaquiles since our complimentary chips came with green salsa so we had a taste of each and they were both absolutely delicious. This spot is top notch and I’m looking forward to returning VERY soon.

Very good. The food was tasty and the service was very nice. The restaurant was also very clean and tidy. However, with the music, it was hard to hear our conversations. As pictured, I ordered the tacos Dorado. They are delicious! The sweetish cream rounds the whole dish out. This is a great place to go of a mid afternoon lunch.
