We’ve been meaning to check out this restaurant for a while after watching Culinary Class Wars, and it did not disappoint! We ordered the jajangmyeon, garlic soy chicken wings, and spicy chicken for around $50. I really enjoyed the jajangmyeon—it wasn’t too earthy like some I’ve tried before. The noodles were chewy, and the pork added a nice salty balance.
The chicken wings were crispy and meaty—no complaints there! But the standout was the spicy chicken. It had just the right amount of heat and a really pleasant texture. The sauce wasn’t overwhelming, but I would definitely get a side of rice next time.
Overall, the space was clean and the service was fast. Even though it’s a chain, the quality really shone through!

Very tasty with great value and experience. Everything we ordered was delicious, and the Mapo Tofu Rice was among the best I’ve ever had! The restaurant is clean and cozy. It’s hard to find such high quality Korean food at such a reasonable price these days. So happy to have this Paik’s Noodle closer to home.

Tried for the first time. You can order on the kiosk and self serve yourself water, seating, etc. They bring the food out to your table. Food tasted good and the server was friendly. Will try other menu items next time.

Oh the food was great! Spicy and delicious!
The owner or manager came up to us to see how we were doing too, always appreciated!
But great food and large portions!

Newly opened second place of Pail’s Noodle in portland area, happy to see this opening since it is finally in my often visiting area, much easier access, very tasty Korean-Chinese food that inexpensive. They even reduced the prefilled tip buttons reasonable since order via a kiosk, self-serve table for refill water and additional silverware, pickles, boxes, etc. The shop will take care of the table and dishes after. I love it.

Consistency is key for a franchise, but after 4 visits, the food here still doesn’t match the flavor profile of other Paik’s Noodle locations (like Seattle, Dallas, Chicago or even Tigard or those in Korea). I’m a huge fan of the brand and want to see this branch succeed, but the recipes need to be recalibrated to meet HQ standards. Hoping to see the classic Paik’s quality on my next visit.

Jjajangbap the sauce was delicious and tasty but the rice was disappointing. It was hard and dry, slightly under cooked and still served. It ruined the whole dish.
