I’ve been here a couple times over the years and I love coming here. The dishes are a hit or miss but the staff is amazing, the environment is nice open and great place to stop to eat. I’ll always come back for the drinks, the great, helpful staff and will always be skeptical about if I get a good dish or get left wanting.

I loved this place so much. The vibe was great super relaxed. Football was on the TV’s. Very comfy chairs that will actually fit your butt. Also the best macha latte I’ve had on the island so far. Our waitress, Jade, ! Amazing. So nice. So helpful. Just the best. The food was phenomenal. Great breakfast. Just enough to be stuffed. Great variety as well including vegan and gluten free options. It seems they have something going on every night as well! Bingo on Tuesdays, trivia on Wednesdays, and karaoke on Thursdays! So much fun.

Was recommended and praised for their espresso Martini from another local shop, so we decided to stop in and try. Wow! They have a very tasty Espresso Martini and we also shared an order of pulled pork loaded Nachos that were also amazing! And on top of that our server was awesome and, we had Monday night Football on!!!
High recommend you to stop in.

Cool open air bar near the end of the Paia downtown area. Great spot to catch a mainland game. We had the pork nachos. The meat is very sweet and they could be more generous with the toppings. Not very crowded at lunch on a weekday. Perhaps fewer tourists walk down to eat here and stay closer to the center of town?? Large open space with some outdoor seating around the edges. The town is great. There are 2 scooped ice cream shops in town, 1 Gelato spot and 1 shaved ice place. Visited Paia 3 times during our 6 day visit.

Good place to get some appetizers and drinks. The coffee was good enough but not great.
Note: You can find free parking on the street.

Highly mediocre food at best. We ate during brunch hours and the chicken and waffles were nearly inedible (burnt on the outside nearly raw inside and waffles were hard as crackers), the nachos barely had any toppings (a bit of shredded cheese and a few pieces of diced onion with aioli on top), and chicken sandwich was blah. The avocado toast was the only decent item. Nice atmosphere overall but service was super slow and inattentive. Cocktails and mocktails were the only thing worth visiting this place, otherwise save your money and eat elsewhere.

We placed an order for food and drinks. We received the 2 coffees and 1 beer we ordered. The macadamia nuts in the coffee were stale. We then waited over an hour for our food and we had no other contact from our waitress. The other tables that came in after us got their food. Then our waitress finally came by and said they had a printer break and so our order was just going in an hour and 15 minutes later. We told her no just bring the check for the drinks, we weren’t waiting any longer. Another 10 minutes passed. We just calculated what we owed, left the money and will not be back. Lack of communication, and bad service, didnt stop by our table even once to check on us. Then waited over an hour to say something.

After a day at Baldwin beach and being ripped off by an unscrupulous taxi service….my group was hesitant in deciding where to go. After being cursed at crossing the street by some dodgers fan transplant we decided to split groups and come on over here. Due to the groups hesitation..I rallied 3 to come inside this place. Man I was awestruck by the spaciousness of the interior. We had rapid service and waters poured after being parched walking about. Our server was a gentleman from New Jersey originally who treated us kindly and was attentive to our requests. The coffee here was superb along with the varied culinary options offered. I ordered a special pork sandwich with spam that was just the correct amount of heat spice! This place is rocking and the servers were so polite! Staff was welcoming and food scrumptious! I could give 10 stars honestly! Well worth it!

It’s a great place to get a meal, especially a nice cold beer. It’s also the perfect place to relax, feel the breeze, and watch your favorite sports team play on several TV locations. We enjoyed our meals and, of course, my Guinness beer.

Paia Bay Coffee & Bar is the perfect blend of Maui’s relaxed spirit and genuine craft. By day, it’s a fantastic coffee shop serving rich, expertly brewed cups and tasty light bites in a cool, bohemian setting. As the sun sets, it smoothly transitions into a welcoming neighborhood bar with great cocktails and a lively yet unhurried vibe. The staff is always friendly, and the location—just a stone’s throw from the beach—makes it an ideal spot to start your morning or wind down your evening. A true local favorite with authentic charm.
