I would give more stars if I could, one of the few Indian restaurants in the USA that has my heart. Outstanding service and an outstanding owner, who leads with heart. That reflects in the delicious food and a great ambience. Loved the appetizers with Samosa Chaat and Mini Kuchas being my favorite. Do not leave without trying the desserts (Rasmalia here is my favorite!). The server kindly served us the Pan Petha as well. This restaurant should be on everyone’s list to try!

I had a great time celebrating Diwali with my parents at Paheli tonight. The menu did not disappoint with your typical indian curry dishes. The menu had alot of new savory dishes that I wanted to try. Our hostess/general manager it seemed, her name was Jenny. She was very informative and was very prompt with the service. The chef has alot of south indian plus tibetan influence in his dishes with a heavy usage of curry leaves. The avocado bhel was a great starter for the vegetarians in our group and the tandoori pomfret is a must for seafood lovers. Be aware of the bones! For dinner definitely recommend the Masala roast which is the chefs special with lamb. It was such a unique dish that i have never had before. It’s also Byob so thats a plus too! I will be back to try more of the chef’s creations.

Over the past two years, I’ve tried many Indian restaurants, especially in Edison, NJ, which has an excellent selection. While most have been very good, I can honestly say this is the best Indian restaurant I’ve visited so far. I’ve been here about five times, and every experience has been outstanding.

Today, I enjoyed a wonderful lunch of Paneer Makhani, garlic naan, and a mango lassi—each item was absolutely delicious. My server, Sanjana, was very pleasant and attentive; she is a genuinely lovely young woman.

Although I have to travel some distance to get here, it is well worth the trip. I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a wonderful restaurant to celebrate my parents’ anniversary, and it was an experience to remember! The ambience was just perfect for the occasion, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the tone for a special evening.

The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the food. Each dish was not only delicious but also bursting with flavor, making the celebration even more memorable. The staff was incredibly helpful, offering great suggestions from the menu that enhanced our dining experience. Their attentiveness and knowledge about the offerings truly made a difference.

Overall, this restaurant provided a delightful experience, combining excellent service, a lovely atmosphere, and mouthwatering food. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion or simply enjoy a fantastic meal!

I was craving Indian food and this place hit the spot. Friendly staff, delicious food! We got everything medium spicy and while it wasn’t spicy hot enough for two of us, it was a good spice for the less spice tolerant.

We got the Pani Puri Shots, which were a bit on the bigger side but delicious and always a fun way to start the meal.

For our mains we got the Rogan Josh (goat), Chef’s Special Masala Chicken, the Dal Paheli, Raita, and the Naan basket. Everything was richly spiced and delicious. I especially enjoyed the Dal which was a lovely consistency, not loose and runny like some other places. It also had a delicious smokey flavor from the chili and spices in the tadka.

For dessert we had the Gulab Jamun Brulee and Mango Ice Cream. The Gulab Jamun Brulee was beautifully presented and very creative.

Our server challenged us with a spicy dried chili that seemed mild at first but increased tremendously in heat level. My mom was finally satisfied! Thankfully he gave us a chocolate to help ease the heat.

So happy to finally make it here. Highly recommend trying something new, there is more to life than Butter Chicken! The Kadai Chicken was fantastic, along with the Aloo Gobi would love to try the chicken vindaloo next time. Salty lassi was excellent, too, one of the best I’ve had. Will be back to try the Korma, Rogan Josh and the vindaloo (very familiar with them), then will go off script and explore some new options.

Only concern was the server who brought out the meal announced the Aloo Gobi as Kadai chicken and vice versa. I questioned it, but she doubled down. No big deal, but if I were vegetarian, that would’ve gone poorly! It’s odd that she wasn’t aware which dish was which, perhaps she was new there. Ambiance is a step above here, too, great for a date night or a meal with friends.

We visited Paheli today and had an amazing experience! We ordered a variety of dishes- kale chaat, chicken 65, and kodi chicken as appetizers, followed by tandoori chicken, special chicken, tandoori pomfret fish, a naan basket, and mango lassi. Every single dish was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The taste and presentation were outstanding. Our server, Pavan, was excellent—attentive, friendly, and made our dining experience even better. The ambiance was warm and inviting. Highly recommend Paheli to anyone craving authentic and delicious Indian food!

We liked the place. The ambience was elegant, the service (by Aparna and chef) was exemplary, and the food was delicious. As a Hyderabadi my expectation with dum biryani are at a different level and hence the 4 star, but my wife and friend who are not – liked the biryani. Would definitely recommend.

We had a great experience at Paheli Indian Cuisine. The food was excellent from start to finish. The appetizers were flavorful and well prepared, and the main courses were rich and satisfying. We especially enjoyed the anjeer kofta and the onion kulcha, both of which were outstanding.

Dessert was a highlight as well — the rasmalai was fresh, soft, and perfectly sweet. On top of the food, the service was warm, attentive, and made the overall experience even better. Definitely a place we’d be happy to visit again.
