We pulled up to Love’s for gas and really weren’t expecting an Indian food truck. We LOVE Indian food and this place DID NOT disappoint. I got the butter chicken and when I say this plat was huge, I mean HUGE. It was spicy but it was soo flavorful. My husband got the Lamb Biryani and he really loved it. The gentleman who took our order was so nice and came out of the truck to bring us our food to our car. Overall amazing experience! Definitely recommend.

Menu was nicely detailed, got the lamb biryani, had just the right amount of spices for both flavor and kick, phenomenally quick and professional throughout, I had time to go take a smoke break while wifey and I waited, our cashier brought the food too us which levated our experience. We’re passing by on our way to Georgia, any and all passing travelers, I recommend you stop here! Great portion sizes and pricing convenience for families, Godspeed brothers and sister!

I read scary reviews before order at this Indian food truck

But I decided to give the a try with potential with wasting money.

Monday morning 9am, order Chicken Briyani
cost $16.

Wait time is 10 min for food to cook.

Food is not best as other restaurant Indian chicken Briyani. Rice and chicken seem fresh.
4 stars for food (yes that mean I would order again)

Portion size is above average for $16.
So it is ok for value.

No Random insects….good.
Over all the food is good enough for me to buy again.

First time I’ve had bad Indian food. They didn’t have many things on the menu. Curry chicken was a soup like broth and the naan was a tortilla essentially. Not a thick, buttery bread I’ve had everywhere else. Curry chicken was flavorful sort of, but cold. Even the Indian worker at the hotel I was staying at did not recommend and I should have listened.

I order Goat curry, Dal Makhanni, Chiken Briyani , Tawa Roti & Fish Pakauda .

Goat curry was worst taste i have ever .

Dal Makhkhani is taste like 9/10 days old stored , slightly smelling and nothing ingredients and looks like makhanni , its taste like totally boiled & 9/10 days old .

Fish Pakauda was more salty .

I like is only Chiken Briyani , Tawa Roti & Plain Rice .

This guys are really insulting the taste of indian foods.

I called them and told that i am bringing back your goat curry and Dal Makhkhani but guy told me he will refund me but he refund only $12.89 only .

So there is no atmosphere is a food truck. There is a table and two chair sitting out there in the parking lot so if you really wanna sit probably could. No umbrella.

Ordered the butter chicken and it was actually very delicious and the chicken in was very tender sauce with flavorful not too spicy .

Rice, we are used to getting a rice with her Indian food. Do you have to pay extra for it but he gave me a free order when we realized we didn’t have any rice to go with our butter chicken. Seems without rice I guess that’s like eating butter chicken soup.

Was is out of garlic naan so we bought two pieces of naan bread which is decent

He was out of mango lassi, but he gave us some chai tea, which was actually very delicious.

The shocker was the samosas samosas. I’m used to them coming with a sauce, kind of a sugary, sweet spicy sauce, if you notice in the picture, it came with ketchup I didn’t know Indian food ever went with ketchup. Although I did come with some nice raw vegetables with some kind of seasoning on them, which were pretty tasty.

So we saw a lot of Indian people coming up the order so that always is a good thing that the same cultures buying Indian food and it is good and he said he’s doing a good business so I told him he need to add rice to your entrées because an entrée with Indian or Asian food, generally goes with rice

My advice to the Pehalwan Dhaba owners is to either stop their work or respect it and prepare the food with complete cleanliness and give it to the truck drivers because we are not buying this food for free, we are buying it with money and we come with the expectation of good food and this is what I would request either stop this work or do it with good respect, do it with complete cleanliness and wash every thing before using it.

You should conduct pest control every week and take full care of food safety.

I bought a butter chicken from this Pahalwan dhaba that had cockroaches in it and I paid the full $16 for it. When I went to eat it in the truck, I was very sad to see a cockroach in it and I found their service very bad.

I would definitely tell the truck drivers who carry food from here to check their food before carrying it. Since many truck drivers are tired, sleepy, and hungry, they eat without looking. I would like to remind them to be careful and to check first that there are no cockroaches and that the food is clean.

My daughter n I stopped and tried the Masala fries that tasted sweet and salty. They were cooked to perfection. Nice and golden and crunchy. Best fries I’ve ever eat in my life. Delicious! The man at the window gave us a free Vegetable Somasa that was the best thing I’ve ever put in my mouth. He gave us a dipping sauce to dip it in and it was a touch of sweet and a touch of spicy, but not hot at all and perfectly crunchy. Oh my goodness, I wanted 2 more. We also got a dessert, gulab jamun. It was really good too. I wish I was hungrier when we stopped bc I would have definitely tried more. The man at the window was so kind and we got our food really quick.
