This is a cute neighborhood place, nice size patio, food is well seasoned, I ordered a curry chicken sandwich, they are out of bread, so they gave me a salad instead; but half of the salad leave is black and already gone bad. I am sure they don’t intent to do that, but oh well, they do need to check the quality of the salad and make sure they are fresh.

Delicious and unassuming with friendly folks taking your orders and making your food, this is the hidden gem we all look for. Excellent breakfast tacos, gluten free and vegan offerings and what looked like amazing sandwiches along with delicious coffee, juice and chai drinks. Great space to hangout and answer emails or gather with friends. All dining is outdoors, but looks onto a beautiful street.

Super friendly staff, they were very upbeat and engaging considering the extremely hot temps and what seems to have been a busy day. They were out of a lot of food when we went because it was almost closing time and they’d just filled a big catering order, but we got coffee, empanadas, banana nutella bread, and lemon poppyseed shortcake and everything was DELICIOUS. The empanadas especially were just scrumptious, the dough was so well made and perfectly done. A+++

Pagoda Cafe has been on my list as a place to visit for several years. I was just never near the location during their opening hours. Apparently, it’s not been long since they reopened post pandemic. You order at the window and when your order is ready, they bring the food to a particular table and call your name. All seating is outdoor. I particularly enjoyed the mango lassi and the guava cream cheese puffs; although, I was puzzled as to why they called them “puffs” when there was only one. I wish there would have been something me mention that the sweet potato, mushroom and brown rice turnover was spicy, because nothing led me to that conclusion when I ordered the item. Some may have found the spiciness a pleasant surprise, but I didn’t. I found both turnovers lacking in flakiness, good, but not excellent.

Discovered this super cute cafe our first morning in New Orleans. Super close walk from our Airbnb, it was charming, welcoming and perfect. The fact that their coffee is top notch, and the breakfast food items to die for, is all an added bonus. Lots of intellects, hipsters, musicians, artists, animal lovers, a beautifully diverse crowd of friendly folks.

The Prince Palmer alone makes it worth a visit. Amazing—iced tea with ginger and lavender. I bought an extra one to go. Loved the vibe—casual, friendly, and bright.

The breakfast tacos are delicious. We ordered the bacon tacos, a sausage roll and the banana bread. I love how efficient they are and the safety precautions they’ve taken with covid. The tacos are so tasty, you’ll only need two because they are super filling. Can’t wait to return to try the coffee.
