We had the menu tasting and wine pairing as suggested by our server and it was well worth it. Everything we had from appetizer, salad, to main entrees to desserts and the glasses of wine that came with it was very good, very satisfying. Our server Logan is very knowledgeable, super nice and accommodating too. The restaurant, ambience is nice. A little tight but ok overall.

Our server was very knowledgeable, and gave great suggestions. The food was good and filling. I had the pork chop and it was perfectly cooked and paired with a side of their cheesy mashed potatoes. Also ordered the lamb and it was slightly cold but the pork chop was definitely the hero.

The two meals I have had at Pago are among the best I have ever had. Be prepared to be wowed and fall in love with foods you’ve never liked before. We recently attended for the Valentine’s Day tasting menu and it was outstanding.

It was fantastic! Austin our server was great! We had a reservation for 6:30pm on a Thursday and there was no one else yet so it was nice and chill. We went for the tasting menu and also ordered some seasonal blackberry lemonade and a Phony Negroni. Dinner was snap peas, beets with strawberries, bean stew, Johnny cake, steak with potatoes, and olive oil cake. To our surprise, the chef made us two plates of the steak and Austin brought us complimentary Italian sodas with our dessert. Everything was delicious and well thought out. We were thoroughly satisfied and stuffed by the end. For the price of $52 per person plus cost of the drinks, it was definitely worth it.

Had dinner on Saturday at Pago Slc (9th and 9th). It had been a bit since I’d been, but they still knocked it out of the park. We had a 5:30p reservation and it was the perfect time to go; the dinner rush hadn’t really started yet so the kitchen was able to get our food out with excellent pacing.

The table ordered the bread (not pictured), burger, trout pirogies, asparagus burrata, whipped potatoes (not pictured), and fondant potatoes to share amongst three people. We didn’t leave hungry and still had leftovers!

Out waiter Taylor was well-trained and offered on-point recommendations that left us satisfied at the end of the meal.

Went here for my birthday and it did not disappoint. The sourdough bread is a must! The best sourdough you will ever have, so good with the house made compound butter. I hear that the Pago burger is the best burger in town, for $20ish it’s worth the money. It is perfectly cooked and juicy. The sauce on the burger is so good. Everything was great. Also we had an awesome waiter, he was very knowledgeable and kind!

Our server, Taylor, was fantastic and had fabulous vegan recommendations. We had a wonderfully savory acorn squash to start, the chef special for entrees with brussel sprouts, purple cauliflower, thin slices of crispy-fried yellow squash (I think), a big, seared lionsmane mushroom, all packed with amazing flavor and covered artfully with a half a sliced avocado, and a simple yet delightful macerated berry medley for dessert, all chosen for us by Taylor and/or the kitchen. We’ll definitely be returning.

Food deserves a solid 5 stars! It was possibly the best chicken I have had in my life.
Loses one star because ventilation from cooking area is very poor. My suit had to air out for days after my dinner.

We’ve been to Pago many times and have always had a great experience! Our most recent visit was for their Valentine’s Day Tasting Menu. Some new dishes mixed with a couple favorites. It was delicious! Service is exceptional. Highly recommend this farm to table local gem

Updated review:

I’ve been here many times before and raved about it. So much so that I brought my friend here from out of town for her birthday.

Service: service was so slow. I think they may have been down a person or only had one person serving tables.

Food:
Bread – bread was burned. I asked for new bread but they say it’s just warmed up. It was not just warmed up it was burned and most of the crust was inedible.

Beet salad – after eating this many times I crave this salad! Unfortunately, what I got last night was not what I’ve had before. First I asked for no parsley because I have an aversion to it after a previously bad experience. It was on there. Second, there was no pomegranate or pumpkin seeds (online menu and were on there previously). Third, there were barely any beets and instead there were strawberries. It was so, so disappointing. I didn’t finish it when I’m usually wanting to like the bowl.

Gnocchi – oh such sadness. The gnocchi was overcooked which made it very dry. And there was not enough sauce to save it. Only ate about half.

The check was very high for bad service and bad food. Will not come back again which makes me sad as this was my go to place for an amazing meal.

I’ve been here twice now within a month. I got the same food both times: chilled beets and spinach gnocchi. Honest to goodness the beets with the yogurt espama and pumpkin seeds is probably the best beet dish I’ve ever had!! And the gnocchi is so flavorful and fresh.

The only thing that made this less than perfect was our waiter kept interrupting us to ask us how we were doing. I love an attentive waiter but it was too much.

However, do not let that stop you from going. This food is delicious!!!!!!
