During my trip to Seattle, I made it a point to try a few of the city’s well-known pizza spots, and Pagliacci Pizza in Capitol Hill was one of the top choices. This place is a local classic, and after sampling a handful of other spots, I can confidently say it’s definitely worth checking out. Pagliacci has multiple locations around the city.
The Capitol Hill location has a relaxed vibe—nothing too fancy, but it has that “neighborhood pizza joint” energy. It’s a great spot to grab a slice and hang out, or even just swing by for a quick takeout order if you’re on the go. The staff were friendly and quick. It’s the kind of place where you feel comfortable, whether you’re stopping by for a solo slice or grabbing a whole pizza to share with friends.
Let’s talk about the pizza. The crust is the perfect balance of chewy and crispy—just the way you want it. It’s not too thick, but it holds up well to the toppings. The sauce has a nice depth to it without being overpowering. I tried a couple of different slices, and each one had its own charm. The flavors were well-balanced, with fresh ingredients.
Pagliacci Pizza is definitely a spot worth hitting if you’re in Seattle.Would I go back— sure. It’s a reliable option that’s perfect for a quick bite or a chill pizza night.

We ordered the veggie pizza on the menu-subbed out mushrooms and mozzarella for jalapenos and vegan cheese-and it was absolutely divine! The cheese was perfect and melt in the mouth. The veggies were well cooked and the crust wasn’t burnt. The whole 13 inch pie was absolutely delicious, tasty and the perfect size for two people! Highly recommend this place.

Whenever a local gives me a recommendation, I take it to heart. I was told about this place and I was supersuper pleased with on the outcome. I got a piece of cheese pizza to start and then I got the pasta as the entree, I was definitely pleased with the ingredients that they used. If you haven’t been here yet going and try it. You will love it as much as I do.

This is my favorite pizza place. I love their red pizza sauce and if I don’t get a slice I always add goat cheese to a pizza when I place an order. So good! The Pagliacci salad is also a favorite. The inside of the restaurant is well lit with big windows and plenty of seating. I often read a book while I eat my pizza or play a game with family or friends. What really stands out is how nice the staff is, everyone who works here is kind and friendly. I do wish they had better choices for slices though and I do wish they had a better solution for the chairs which make a terrible screeching noise when pulled in and out of the tables. But those are minor compared to all the positives. I definitely recommend coming here for pizza.

The lunch special and pizza of the day were good values. They even have a coke vending machine with tons of flavours to choose from.

Great place to grab pizza! The indoor seating is spacious and perfect for a low-key hangout with friends! You can see the staff stretching and making the pizza dough which is pretty cool. Lots of delicious vegetarian pizza options too!

My wife and I have come here several times to have lunch! We really enjoy the taste of the pizza when it comes out of the oven and how fresh and delicious it is.
The staff is so friendly. The restaurant is very clean, and the staff is nice. I love the vibe of the place as well. It’s very laid back and casual. It took about 15-20 minutes for our whole pizza to be done baking.
Overall, I recommend this Pagliacci location!

My first and only time to this location is for summer solstice of 2023 where Pagliacci was giving out 2 free slices per person!
Amazing, patient, and friendly staff! Line was out the door but it moved quickly and orderly. Inside is well decorated with lots of cool posters and art. Food (pizza) was amazing fresh but meh when cold, but you can’t complain about free pizza haha. I tried the Italian and the Hawaiian, both decent!
